So Elfi in my humble opinion just chose the wrong way of playing against TLO. I'm not exactly sure what he was trying to do but I like how he did it lol, if TLO was going to do some one base then he was gonna die anyway if he tried to do some pseudo safe Tech + expansion build. If you want to be a little bit greedy then you might as well go all the way because that attack--even if he had more units-- still probably would have done enough damage to make too hard to come back anyway, I think I've seen Sjow do that build to people who do play safe and still cripple them! But at the end of the day he never had to take that risk--there are much safer builds in TvP right now, he flipped a coin and it landed on tails when he wanted heads ![]() If you play save against that build, it will deal zero to nearly no damage and the Terran will be way behind. Check HasuObs against TLO for example. All you need would be 1 sentry to forcefield the ramp... or good building placement. Well someone said he tried to get Colossus out with a single Sentry/Stalker and 2gateways lol, I didn't get chance to watch the game, but even with a ramp forcefield, that small task force won't hold 8 marines and a medviac haha, and those hellions will eventually get up the ramp. Just going by what he had, even if he held it off he would prob be down to 1 Colossus and a single gateway unit Vs. a terran who already has got Starport tech lol | ||
