Grubby is always gonna be the coolest guy in e-sports. And he took down TLO to make it to the semifinals. THATS HUGE!! People are continuously counting him out and underestimate him saying he's just a wc3 player. Losing to Kas in the semi's is nothing to hold your head to either.... anyone know how the games went? Was it close?

Pritty good micro from MC to take that. I feel like Kas expected more zealots and that 1 stalker just completely caught him off his guard.

All series are online. None are LAN.

Both series were played on Europe, in Europe.

The Kratoss is back. Just ask yourself if Thorzain is better than Kas.. of course not, Kas is a terran monster. If MC played thorzain in lan, it would have been a different story.

there is no LAN in sc2

Khaldor is a badass indeed, really enjoyed his casting. Really liked the coverage of this tournement, only feel bad for Danish player Joe who got shafted by lag.
Mana did a great job casting, and so did Grubby

I guess there's always the issue of the extra pressure of a live crowd, but that's the only difference between this series and the one that just happened in the tsl.

Yeah, and performing under pressure > performing at home, in my book, by a mile.

That can go both ways considering that you should see better games from players who are comfortably playing from their home.
All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.

all games were close, tho eventually kas always came from being behind 10-20 food into maxed army vs 150. overall, grubby had advantages in the battles with his micro, falling behind to kas' superior macro

Kas is a much better played than the player that showed up against MC though. I think the nerves killed it for him (just listen to his interviews, he really didn't look confident going against MC). I think he will be a force to be reckon with in the near future once he has a bit more lan experience under his belt.

oh plz, by LAN he means LIVE event when players dont play from there room but in front of a crown. Thats actually put a lot of pressure on players as you just see Kas played very bad. MC is too use to LIVE event thats why he destroyed Kas.
Kas at least can take 1 or 2 games from MC if he not nervous.

Really nice stream the past couple of days, nice job with entertainment between games rather than too much random screen with logo in the middle.

He meant LAN as in a live event with cameras and a live audience. it is a different play compared to sitting in your chair at home.
