It really doesn't look like a crazy claim...

he is atm imo as well.

for you this might be the first games you see of him, you might be wiser after TSL NASL playoffs.

GOGOGO kas rooting for you but man mc looks really scary in this tour.. i honestly dont think kas is even gonna be able to take 1 game off mc because he doesnt look as comfortable in his play as when he plays online, should be ok after 2-3 more lans tho

When are the finals going to take place? I hope the games won't clash with TSL MC vs Thorzain.

Nobody wins as much as him. Im suprised he's still relatively unknown here on TL... Every week he wins more tournaments than any other player. And the ones he loses it's always to a 4 gate or something non macro.

I feel the effect as well. The biggest reason is lack of huge tournament wins (dreamhack, assembly, etc). I know he is extremely good but I can't tell if he is great.

Kas vs. MC should be one of the most interesting games we've seen in a long while. Kas is alot, alot better than most seem to believe.

At top level, macro level should not be this far apart, its' grubby that is macroing poorly as opposed to kas macroing amazingly.

Maybe you didn't see Kas vs Nada? Kas basically beasted through with macro, and Nada is known for his macro. Kas has really amazing macro.

Definitely the best macro Terran in Europe. Him vs MC will give alot more insight into how good Kas has actually become. I think he might give MC a run for his money...although not sure Kas can handle the insane MC pressure

I don't think so--Kas isn't ready for MC, although he has solid mechanics, so does IdrA or Jinro and they both lost to MC. I'd give it 30%.

I think Kas is a much better player than Jinro and Idra -- Naniwa considers him the best player in Europe by far -- but that's just me I guess..

Both Naniwa and Kas are similar--young, sort of newcomers to being showcased in tournaments, but Idra and Jinro are aged vets who have played/play in Korea--you can't beat that kind of experience. Idra also has better macro than Kas.

No way, id love to see them play. Idra is vastly over-rated whereas Kas is vastly under-rated (well on your side of the pond anyway).

Kas, underrated?

I can't imagine Europeans talking any MORE about him.

I was going to post something similar. If anything he's starting to be overhyped. I've seen posters claim he could win GSL code s at his current skill level. I mean, he's very good but come on...

I said in NA, SoTG said he would get owned by nada. Alot of NA fans didnt even know who he was. People had been touting Jinro as a potential GSL champion too, and i would say kas is better than Jinro. Lets see how the final goes eh.

When Kas makes it to the ro4 in the GSL twice, then I think you can make that kind of statement.

That's way back in GSL 2 and 3. I think at this moment Kas is better than Jinro.

I think Kas has the potential, and that with korean training he'd be insane, but remember GSL is an incredibly difficult field, much more so than EU online tournaments, which are the main accomplishments of Kas. In GSL, new great players are constantly appearing, and players like boxer and MVP get knocked down to Code A in a second. Hell, MC lost in the ro32 in a relatively easy group.

Kas is great, even GSL code S at some moments, plus, he's very consistent, but I'd say we'd have to se how he fares in such a stacked field, it's not the same as performing in EU online cups.

Strawman argument. Kas isn't playing in the GSL. The comparison isn't fair to him.
