This tournament is based around the SEA timezones (the admins stated as much during the first FXOpen invitational), so the Koreans are playing at a comfortable time while the EU guys have to play in the wee hours of the morning. This is obviously having an effect on their play, as Socke just blew a completely won game vs. Zenio by not reacting fast enough to the ramp. Lastly, if the lag makes it so unplayable, and everyone has known about this since TSL last weekend, the Koreans could have simply declined their invites. No one is holding a gun to their head and forcing them to play. If they choose to compete, they have to abide by the tournament rules, which means playing on the NA server. Latency is just a side effect of that, so it's not acceptable as an excuse for losing. I think it's fine that Koreans are in the tournament. The issue isn't about Koreans losing due to lag, my problem is that people are just blindly praising wins while determinedly ignoring the very real lag issues. Also, I acknowledge that time is an issue, but it's not as bad as latency IMO.

Britney asked Strelok how long he had been playing for... and of course as everyone could have seen coming... he used that question to then say he has only been playing for a month. Pretty cocky of him. I'm hoping Strelok takes this now! ![]() Is this true?
