Huk still had like 4-5 HTs in his army, the storms wouldve been instadeath

That zerg.... so bad.... Didn't even have to face against collossus/voidray.

I don't think Revival played it too terrible, he had a nice contain and was delaying Huk's expansions for quite a while. That was definitely his game to win and he did make some mistakes.
|
Huk tried a troll smile but did it in the wrong direction
He's in the Up/Down matches now yeah!
|
Huk needs to improve,, he won't get lucky like this against the really good players.

I dont see why shouldnt he won. He shouldn't have, he was stuck on 2base and let Revival macro up and get whatever army he wanted. Then Revival decides that GSL isn't for him and chokes more than fucking anyone I've seen.

Huk! Yes!! Congrats! Up and down matches!
|
Does Huk still think PvZ is his worst matchup? I know before he went out to korea he was saying it was hist worst. And yea revival threw that game away.
|
imo he should never had been able to win that. 4(5) v 2 base, Zerg can't break him as soon as HT comes out. Amulet HTs defending 3rd base easily, and for some reason he pumped ultras when he scouted 10ish Immortals ? But people saying Hydras are the answer, they melt to storms also. The late game for Protoss is seriously strong vs Zerg.

I think huk read a muta switch or something cause he made a lot of canons at the back of his base and teched to blink but he managed to win it anyway... GG!

In game 3 he did a nice macro game, he was at 4 bases when HuK was still at 2 and couldn't really counter push. He even teched up to tier 3 nice and early, which other zerg sometimes neglect.
He just completely broke down late game. It happens... Still a lot better than not being able to play early game though I imagine he thought: Let's just make my most powerful unit, I have all the money and gas in the world.

I just think Revival had no idea how to deal with that army mix. High templar/archon/immortal/blink stalker just seems like an incredibly strong combo, and it takes a lot of experience to know what to do. I felt like Revival wanted to do an ultra/ling/infestor to stop it, but HuK had excellent feedback usage and managed to catch a few infestors out of position.
Revival choked incredibly hard there.

Although, huge props for winning without a single Void Ray or Colossus, a refreshing playstyle to watch. It's not new, but just so underplayed anymore.

Revival messed up, but still, props to HuK for holding on and managing to come back after losing the first game and being up against the wall in game 2. Congratulations on qualifying for the up&down matches!

Oh, and I loved Kelly's comment about how Huk was Huking him up. Huk really came from behind and Huked him in the butt.

feel so bad for the zerg sigh

Meh, any decent Protoss would win if Zerg pumps all his gas in Ultra when you have like 8 immortals+speedlots. HuK got very very lucky

Archons make awesome tanks too. I really liked that unit composition he had Archon + Immo + Templar.

if he had instead pumped out an instant 20 mutas, the probe harass he could have done at that point would have won him the game
