Kas is probably the best TvP player in Europe. 3-2 or 3-1 to Liquid, Tyler and Haypro/TLO might lose depending on race and spawn locations..
|
Liquid has no chance of losing this, IMO.

don't agree, even though i wish it was true. Kas is playing briliantly so there's only little chance Nony can win the match, Beastyqt has been on fire lately too. I'd say 3:1 for Empire or 2:3 for TL with Ret or Jinro taking the ace match against Kas.
|
With empire losing some players and really being Team Kas as of late.. I think Liquid will take this.
|
i think people are underestimating beastyqt empire might have a chance if kas and him can take their maps

Why isn't huk ever fielded?

Huk doesn't like to play because of the latency issue.

aww darn. I wonder if he will play in the playoffs

3-1 for Liquid sounds about right I think, both Beasty and Kas could win but I'd not bank on both of them actually doing so.
|
|
it'll go to the acematch
tyler and ret will lose their games, TLO and Haypro will win.
dunno what the matchup for ace match would be so can't predict that.

Empire|Kas <Delta Quadrant> Liquid`Tyler Empire|ho8ot <Blistering Sands> LiquidRet Empire|Beastyqt <Lost Temple> LiquidTLO Empire|Aristeo <Shakuras Plateau> Liquid`Haypro
Beastyqt vs TLO depends on the race and position so it's not predictible for me. In TvT i'll definitely say that TLO wins.

Sure is. :D

I honestly haven't seen or heard of Empire in a long-time. Who did they have previous?
I'm rooting for Empire, but Liquid does have my rational side with them.
|
Empire|Kas <Delta Quadrant> Liquid`Tyler Empire|ho8ot <Blistering Sands> LiquidRet Empire|Beastyqt <Lost Temple> LiquidTLO Empire|Aristeo <Shakuras Plateau> Liquid`Haypro
Liquid 3-1, pretty confident in last 3 matches, TLO one depending slightly on race. Kas on DQ will be tough for Tyler imo, but I hope I'm wrong and Tyler wins :D
Also, I don't think Haypro has lost a game in GCPL yet? Maybe I'm wrong. I think he's 4-0 or something like that
|
Can't see this one going to ace.. Liquid 3-0 probably. 3-1 at worst imo

Why? I can. Beastyq is a beast. TLO will have to bring his A-game.
I think this one can go the distance if Empire brings it to them.

They have some good players, Kas of course is one of Europe's top Terrans and Beastyqt is pretty good as well. I don't really know much about their other current members (Krolu is good at proxy Stargates at least ^^; ). Former members of Empire include Naniwa (now on dignitas) and DieStar (now on Millenium).
I think Liquid is more likely to win but it wouldn't be shocking if it went to ace, and it wouldn't be a huge upset if Kas beat any Liquid player.
|
|
Hmm. Kas probably has the best TvP in Europe, i say he beats Tyler. The only other game they might take is beastyqt>tlo if tlo gets unlucky. Ever since Empire lost Naniwa they've been carried by Kas, and even he is slipping up more now. They really need another high quality player to back him up

going to be a good series regardless :D
Agreeing with this.
Rooting for Liquid! Gogo!!!
+ Show Spoiler +I wonder when TLO is gonna pick a race...

Agree with the score, and remember, TLO always picks terran when up against terran, his TvT is just too strong.

Kas and BeastyQT are pretty big on the lesser tournament scene. I really doubt they'll take more then one game off Liquid though.
Perhaps I should watch this live because whenever I do, Liquid starts losing games.

Is TLO definately randoming - he usually choses in TvT doesn't he? Go go liquid!! yeah, TLO usually picks terran for a TvT. If he does, you can be sure it'll involve hellions or thors, or both

Steam.. rolled? Damn - i really wished that warp prism play worked!! ><

Wow, fairly easy for Kas.

Love the effort from Tyler to do something very cool. The warp prism was very nice. Beastly game in general by Kas though.

Colossi seems like the natural transition from that open since you already have the robotics bay, but at the same time it feels counter-intuitive to transition into something countered by the go-to unit to shut down drops; you're essentially forcing the counter for your transition. I'd like to see that open with a different follow up and I liked the idea from tyler.

I am no pro; but it was an idea

I wonder if warp prism play will ever be viable in SC 2 early game. Seems like anti-air is just too strong and there's no "high risk high reward" unit like the reaver.
Maybe PvP...

It definitely would have done well against that almost pure marauder composition. I also like the idea of transitioning into double forge, try some multi pronged drops with chargelots with double ups, then maybe adding colossi when he takes his 3rd.

Ret is just such a beast.

Yeah the problem is he rushed to high tech off 1 base so he just didnt have enough units; surviving that massive marauder ball with so few units after forcing vikings is almost impossible..
You have to do serious damage with the immortal drops or your almost done - it seems a bit all-inish as in if the drop isn't successful; you are in a lot of trouble :/

Yeah - Ret just destroyed him; it seems he gave him that game but i feel like he just got outclassed.. Ret was one step ahead the entire game - expanded earlier; had roaches earlier.. it was just to good
Reactor first TLO makes me all giddy inside

TLO looking just masterful in this game. Beastyqt just cant seem to do anything that he wants to do. I really like to see this drop heavy type of play from TLO.
|
TLO showcasing his completely amazing understanding of this game. So fantastic...
|
TLO always makes me

TLO on fire - he just dominated.. a few of those attacks looked a bit sloppy but he just overpowered Beastyqt ..
HayprO make my prediction 100% please :D!
|
Some pretty rediculous T v T by TLO.
Side Note: the observer is almost a full 5 seconds off the casters =/. Really hard to watch like that.

TLAF-Liquid` 2 - 1 Empire
I didn't know Aristeo played protoss at all, but HayprO seems to be totally outclassing him atm.

Yeah - it's such a shame he drawed Ganzi in the first round of Code A :/
The delay is a bit annoying.. but HayprO should take this short of a massive mistake :/

SkyZerg? Holy WTF. I love it!
|
'Liquid is REALLY impressing me right now. TLO's gamesense and decision-making last game was scary, and HayprO's creep spread in this game is insane. He's doing a great job of choosing his engagements and macroing up. It makes me sad that he had to get paired up with someone like Ganzi in his first round of Code A. =/
|
Heh, brutal last game.
gg liquid! ^^
|
Wow so I'm not the only zerg who does corrupter/muta :D. Haypro played that so good what a beast ^_^

Wish there was liquibet hahaha

Holy SHIT Haypro just completely obliterated him so bad. I guess all that oGs training really paid off, his opponent just happened to be amazingly good in GSL last night.
|
Everything went as expected.
|
To anyone who questioned Haypro's invite to the TSL: refer them to his match against Aristeo. Great Mutalisk play!

|
Complete domination against the gimmicky void-into-void/colossus 2-base all in deathball strat.
Haypro read him completely, knew he was showing voids to force hydras, but he didn't really pressure with the voids, rather had to use them to deny zergling runbys. So Haypro went straight to spire. When the mutas showed up Aristeo had already lost. Haypro just had to get up a critical mass of mutas (to do the damage) and corruptors (to protect the mutas).

Yeah he lost like two or three units and cut the protoss air numbers in half. Really weird to see that happen lol.

Tyler just said on his stream that since he knew Liquid won 3 games already before he played his game, he didn't want to use his standard PvT against Kas.

And thanks for pointing out to me Tyler is streaming. I was about to start studying for an exam tomorrow but I guess that can wait.

1200 people watching Nony chat. He really is the boss of chilling.
