You may remember, even with all that advantage, it took quite a while for IMLosira to actually kill ZeNEXByun in GSTL. That's actually what is surprising. Normally IdrA is very, very meticulous in keeping his advantage in the game and wearing his opponent down, especially in ZvT vs planetary fortressed area. also... But yeah, muta bling was a bad choice from IdrA. he tried attacking the PF about 2-3 times without any real damage. he was too committed to the unit comp.

The unit comp was fine, he just needed to right click the planetary with his first baneling attack to break the defensive position, and once that was down he had more than enough to take it as you could see with the following attacks.

It was not so much the PF but the tanks that killed the banelings. Idras contol in that attack was just not good.

He was so far ahead he thought he could just end it but like someone said, he forgot he is zerg. Strelok's play wasn't horrible, Idra was just always one step ahead and defended the harass beautifully. Strelok's only big blunder was forgetting about the drop.

Well, the initial drop was horrible, but I did edit my evaluation to be a bit less harsh. His banshees, hellions and the first drop did 0 damage while losing everything, he lost his tech lab that was almost done reseraching stim. I wish a zerg could recover after something like that.

The game will be stretched out even if you're ahead. Terran can turtle so well with the map architecture, and if you don't harass you will die to timing pushes through the bridge.
