I predict inc loses his PvP in practice looked pretty weak yesterday. Getting destroyed by bubbles repeatedly.

Strelock imo looked pretty bad, it's pretty apparent that his multi-tasking is extremely poor. That being said, Idra blew the massive lead he had.

Well idra just let strelok back into the game by suiciding 30-40 banelings and doing almost no damage. I think he got a bit cocky due to the terrible mistakes strelok made and just wanted to end it instantly.

Think he felt he was so far ahead he could just bust his way through. Solid marine splits w/ a few tanks and the planetary was all like, "lol nope."

IdrA actually forgot that he played zerg after Strelok did all those mistakes. You may remember, even with all that advantage, it took quite a while for IMLosira to actually kill ZeNEXByun in GSTL.

That's actually what is surprising. Normally IdrA is very, very meticulous in keeping his advantage in the game and wearing his opponent down, especially in ZvT vs planetary fortressed area.

also...

Planetary Fortress 1 : IdrA 0

But yeah, muta bling was a bad choice from IdrA. he tried attacking the PF about 2-3 times without any real damage. he was too committed to the unit comp.

Strelok clearly played great, i mean did you see the fact that he made a planetary fortress?

Idra actually played perfectly until that misjudgement while Strelok played poorly. He was so far ahead he thought he could just end it but like someone said, he forgot he is zerg.

Do you realise that Idra has been going further and further in the GSL, finishing top 8 in the last season? What games are you basing this on?

The unit comp was fine, he just needed to right click the planetary with his first baneling attack to break the defensive position, and once that was down he had more than enough to take it as you could see with the following attacks.
i was driving down the road this november eve and spotted a hitchhiker walking down the street. i pulled over and saw that it was only a tree. i uprooted it and put it in my trunk. do trees like marshmallow peeps? cause that's all i have and will have.

It was not so much the PF but the tanks that killed the banelings.
Idras contol in that attack was just not good.

Strelok's play wasn't horrible, Idra was just always one step ahead and defended the harass beautifully. Strelok's only big blunder was forgetting about the drop.

Well, the initial drop was horrible, but I did edit my evaluation to be a bit less harsh. His banshees, hellions and the first drop did 0 damage while losing everything, he lost his tech lab that was almost done reseraching stim. I wish a zerg could recover after something like that.

You can't really make many decisions on that map if you commit to ling/bane/muta. The game will be stretched out even if you're ahead. Terran can turtle so well with the map architecture, and if you don't harass you will die to timing pushes through the bridge.
