StarCraft 2 will have yet another LAN tournament with great prizes in Europe. This time it's The Gathering, Norways largest dataparty.

Problem about the gathering is always about the expensive ticket to play :S

Well they gave me the hardware part of the prize on the event itself (+ a little tile with ranking/details on it etc) and the money would be send to my account later.
I just never got it (and they don't reply to emails either), but yeah don't want to derail the topic, just throwing it out there.

All price money wil be paid out, this i can gurantee, but some of the price moeny might be given in hardware.

So you are basically saying that if you won 400 euro's, you get hardware and no money? Because it is given in hardware? What a shame on your tournament then.

Hmm the tournament fee is very high and norway is expensive, hopefully we'll see many good players anyway

$7700 in prizes doesn't always mean just prize money. It could include hardware as well.
