Millenium annonces its First SC2 Cup, with his partner Winamax.fr.
The french team Millenium is organizing a 16 players cup with a 450€ cash prize for the winner.
This tournament will be done in 2 rounds :
- First round : upper part of the tree will be played on February, 17th from 19h15 (all BO3)
- Second round : lower part of the tree will be played on February, 18th from 19h15 (all BO3).
During these 2 days, the games will go until 1/4 included, while semi-finals and final will be played on Tuesday, February 22nd from 20h30.
You will be able to follow all the tournament in ReaL time on Millenium TV
and also on http://www.glhf.tv/
From today, 4 players participating to this cup will be announced every day and so on, until the Complete knowlegde of the tree. Yes, some Hidden elements, but be sure you will find some of the top EU fighting on this very attractive First opus.

yeah it seems the stream they are using does'nt work very well if you don't live in France. Hope they will put another stream in parallel for foreigners for the rest of the tourney.

I'm pretty new here, but is it customary to advertise tournaments here, which are not broadcasted in english? I mean despite the korean bw tournaments of course, because i don't really see the point.
Add to that that the stream is not working well for people outside of france, and that the OP did not mention there won't be an english stream (which i find the worst, if you do make a toruney and stream it in one language okay, but atleast say so from the beginning, so one doesnt look forward to watching it).

@TheMexican :Funny you say this, since you're german and that TaKe mostly covers only in german. And the tournament has been advertised but as you can see is not featured by TL, which can be one of the reason, I don't know much about it. However I agree with you , it's not very clear that it's gonna be only on a French stream, but as Vira said, I think they tried to find an english one, but couldn't find any in time.

Isn't there and English stream for most of takes cups? becomeapro is some kind of youtube project, so no one really gets hurt when stream is not provided in english, tournaments on the other hand...
besides, even if it was the same, doesn't make it right

A long time ago he was a top player, and coach/manager of the aT war3 team (around 2003/2004), and was a pretty famous shoutcaster (france's best in fact) back then (shouting korean style !)

But in my opinion its also not right to let somebody cast who is the coach of players who are participating. How should he neutral when ToD, DieStar, MoMaN or somebody else from Millenium is playing? This is not really fair in my opinion. He is always cheering so crazy for the french players, even if the german casters do this as well, but there i don´t like it as well^^

Lwl often comment his team's game. But he's good, and he might do it because there's no other streamer up. He don't have to be neutral, he have to be clear and to see everything, that's it.
Moreover, we can see really good games for now : Tod - Goody was nice, Moman - Morrow was enjoyable, Morrow - Tod was awesome, and Sarens - Socke seems ok for now

Casters don't have to be neutral at all. How neutral are your German commentators during World Cup? Not so much I assume, and it would be a shame if they were. It's Milleniums home tourny, obviously the french caster will cheer for the team especially if it's a french stream.

They're not that biased actually.
They've even been extremly harsh on some French players not playing as good as they expected (SareNs..).

Stupid of whitera to push after he won the first engagement with his deathball losing pretty much only gateway units which he could have easily remacro'd. Instead he lost all his money units for nothing in a hopeless counter push. Pretty disappointing to see that whitera only loses when he does silly mistakes such as this.

Yes, he advances because DieStar made a big mistake. He attacked ToD in a terrible place and lost everything. And I do not understand why he didn't expand when he had a nice advantage

omg im getting so excited. ToD is such a huge baller (no im not a fanboy at all:DD) and was such a beast in wc3 (didnt rly play it, but was the only person i liked to watch aside from moon/grubby).
Im so happy for him that his hard work is paying off! really shows that it dosnt matter what you do inside the RTS genre if youre talented. way to go.
