Well, it's specificly about this tournament allowing it - because GSL for example does NOT allow race-picking afaik. So my first post regarding this topic wasn't about race-picking in general, just about me being surprised that it's even allowed. Anyways: what's wrong with GLHF, they just randomly decided to not stream matches while so many are being played right now?
GSL is a totally different thing because you only have to play and prepare one matchup for a day.

Most tournaments actually allow race picking. I don't see any problem whatsoever. And normally you can't change beetween games only beetween matches, so there's no map imbalance shit.

I can't see any logic behind it not being allowed. He doesn't pick based on maps. He always picks TvT because he likes TvT. Rest he plays random. So he's not abusing what so ever. People know beforehand that he does this and it doesn't require any more practice for them. It's not like he abuses map imbalances. Lol that's not the point. Your opponent just cant prepare, because you can pick the favoured race whenever you need to. Its not that its easy to be good at every race on top level .. Why shouldn't you take this advantage in a tourney .. ?
Apart from the fact that Race-Picking isn't playing Random.
