We're complaining because nobody likes to be misled. One of the greatest aspects of Esports is that it's a live event, where everybody... the players, casters, and viewers, share in one experience. You don't hype an event for weeks and then mislead people. There wouldn't be half as much complaining if they had simply said, "for technical reasons, we will be broadcasting a pre-recorded VOD." Easy.

Its more because of the fact that in korea it is 8am atm. This way the players can play at an optimal time zone and both europeans and americans can see it.

asuming the it is not live also exlpains why the cast seems to get out of sync: the video of the game itself is lagging (you can see this clearly when on unit-movement). the cast-video down right is playing just fine. so after a few minutes it gets out of sync because the ingame-video only played like 4min and the cast-video 4min ans a few secounds.
really annoying, was hopeing for some really greate casts and games :-(

I'm liking the quick medivacs instead of rushing for tanks. It gives you some map control and ability to harass before the zerg gets his muta number up. I'm so gonna steal it!

I dont like replay casts. It just feels a little less "exciting".
Also often times the casters are not synched up with each other perfectly and it screws up the quality a little.
Also Justin.tv keeps dieing on me...

Sync is much better now, and casters seem peppier. I'm still not sure that this is live though, looking like Shakuras is the first macro blow for blow match I wanted from the beginning.
Just as I say that Jinro is expanding aggressively into Idra.

Funny i don't think people would say the same thing about a pre-recorded World Cup final which was passed off as being screened live to the world 
I think the pre-recorded casts has thrown up a bunch of issues.
Casting from replays is fine, but pre-recorded casts definately feels awkward to me and detracts from the immersion.
I am enjoying the games though so its not all bad!
