I think the issue here is that you were a bit lashing towards someone who didn't make the decision and just trying to rationalize the whole thing for you.
That's really the only issue.

MLG announce their map pool 1 month and 2 weeks before their first tournament. GSL announce their new maps at least 1month before their new season and they host several KOTH about it. What does ETS do ? Announce their map pool 1 week before the lan. Good freaking game.

Hey. I just read the FAQ about the visitor's hours... 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.? Are you kidding me? Is there a way for me to come see the games live and meet the players, or just hang out? Participating in the tournament is out of the question for me anyway, but I live really not so far away, so...
