Yes youre right, I am implying that the Root players are the best in the tourney. Which is a funny thing being that this is an invitational. Which further supports my opinion that this torny is far from legit.

It's an NA tourney only and Root is arguably the best team in NA.

What's the real reason you're butthurt?

First, learn to post correctly and not double post your fail attempt. The key word is "arguably" the best team. Judging from the Clan Wars they are far from the best NA team, sure they are a good clan but the clan war results speak for themselves.

Im done with this thread because the lack of wit from some of you posters is rather boring. Ive stated my opinion and defended it, thats all i can do.

I'm sorry you feel this way, maybe because I was a part of helping plan, but I really felt that we did a good job from this tournament, and are constantly improving event after event.

As for the seeding issue, we tried to avoid team kills until at least the 2nd around - maybe we didn't statistically include the top players in NA, but come on, it's a tournament put on by our staff and with our name, what are we gonna do, stack it with players other than the ones I know and love? We did also have issues with people who were invited and accepted (not on ROOT) not show up. I'll be sure to refund your admission fee to watch. Next time I'll definitely PM you before our next tourney, and you can seed all the players in the ROOT/smurf_nyc invitational

Either way, if you did or didn't like the tournament, we really appreciate all of you for tuning in, providing your input and cheering for your favorite players. We'll be looking to do more big events with more companies in the future. Now let's enjoy these finals!

there were 4 players from EG, and several other players from other good teams, I have no idea what smurf's point is here

As a side note I do feel like I invited a large part of the highest skill NA players. I'm sorry if you have a differing opinion. I looked at things like MLG performance, ladder ranking, TL Open performance, and just general tournament performance.

Thanks everyone for watching, this has been a great success because of you all!

This was a fantastic tourny root you should be commended for putting on another exceptional event. I cannot say I loved the casters but I did throughly enjoy the play of the players.

Congratulations Minigun!

Great, great games. Nice micro on that last set.
Even during difficult times, when I sat down to play the game, there were times where it felt like god has descended down and played [for me].

Jesus... where were all the Kiwi fans in chat? I felt like the only one. Either way GG to Minigun. I am still a fan of his and he is a great player who deserves to win so I'm not upset at all... just a bit surprised by the overwhelming Mini support.

Thanks for hosting the tournament, it was awesome. It sucks that some people like Select, Machine, TT1 and InControL couldn't make it, but it was amazing none the less. GJ to Root for dominating and thanks to the sponsors!

Well played by Mini! I'd definitely perceive it as an upset, but there was no doubting he played better than Kiwi in the games.

Fantastic tourney ROOT, and big congrats to Minigun!
If I'm not mistaken, I believe this is his first tourney win? Great to see him break out, been watching his stream for a while.
Take anything I say with a grain of salt.....I suck at this game. Also, Go Blue!

hahaha I almost made a Lalush joke as well, but decided against it because I couldnt find a good way to put it. Glad to see it didn't go without mention at least!
