Actually, when I think about it, MKP would have been better off without the gold. It spread him too thin too early and made him vulnerable to drops and then allowed the tanks to siege up at the tower.

I really think the guy just needs to go back to playing his own game.

I don't think that mkp's composition is necessarily his problem, his game against jinro on Xel Naga proves that mmm are viable against tanks. You just need to have really good micro, positioning, game sense, and above all scouting/map control.
