Yeah. He needs to get his shit in line... GSL Code S is not a place to be breezing around drinking and snowboarding instead of putting in the practice. Its just like sc said, to beat him you'd have had to practice... Nestea and IdrA are def at a different level from FD now imo...

practice doesnt win you games with zerg
luck does
smart of him to be having fun instead of wasting his time

If it's anything about luck, it's the ridiculous importance of spawn positions on too many maps. Banelings do make the battles very random though, I'd admit.

DId you see his decision making and play in Game 2 and 3!? Im betting my bottom dollar you'd have cleaned out Sc in either of those games, given the postion he was in....

LOL. Words from the man himself.

Definitely, if he can luck his way to a GSL champion while snowboarding and drinking, that is definitelye living the life.

PLUS he's got a voice like that. DAMN fruitdealer.

One of the interviews, Fruitdealer said he had a bit of a drinking problem, so that probably doesn't help. But his main problem is he gets into these funks. Like he did in game 2 on Metalopolis or in Season 3 of the GSL. Zerg still needs a large number of zerglings in a base to defeat it. Small numbers don't really do that much.

Which interview was that? That's why the GOMTV forums were being spammed with if FruitDealer got over his drinking problem yet.

It seems that he doesen't know when to stop the attacking and just get back to droning/teching. This has come quite common to FD to do and it really bothers me. See the game against HongUnPrime in S3 where FD just mindlessly tried to break him with speedlings and it was quite obvious that it wouldn't really work that well. Sure HongUn did a good job fending it off, but still.

Who cares if Fruitdealer likes to drink, he already a GSL Champion, if he wants to snowboard and stuff around, and still get into GSL code S, good for him, at the end of the day, sc2 is a game, not a lifestyle.

Lolol! Its their profession. SO yeah its not "just a game". You cant sacrifice profession for leisure if you want to excel at it.

Out of interest idra, do you think you have ever beaten a legit top player in a GOM series since GSL1?

I guess luck must be majorly on Nestea' side yea? Hes doing pretty well in nearly all of the comps he enters? No?

He's already said that basically Nestea only got this far in the current gsl by the luck of the draw. Not because he bad but zerg obviously.

FruitDealer needs to get rid of his "tunnel vision" and be much more flexible with his tactics, then we definitively not gonna see him in Up/Down matches.

Code S is gonna be amazing next season!
