There are good players in there, But TvT is so boring . And why no zerg

Because unlike the black dragon league (in which the only zergs were invited i believe because they didnt win any qualifiers), this one was just qualifiers, is my guess.

the funny thing is that Europe have alot of good Zergs, like Dimaga, TLO, MorroW, DarkForcE, Lalush, DabOo, Zpux ect ect

I love to see many of them playing, but the race stats looks soooo boring, so many T. Not even one Zerg? TvT starts annoying after the 3rd game of tanks and vikings slowly inching forward. Go Ra and Demu !

Exactly, they just... never win any tournaments (or the qualifiers apparently, could anyone correct me if im wrong about the black dragon league zergs being 100 percent invited?)

I don't think Europe has that many top Tier. Only really Dimaga and maybe TLO/Morrow/Darkforce. The rest are really good but aren't top tier like the T/P guys. There's a difference between top tier and being really good.

All of the best GSL matches have been TvT, this tourney will probably have fewer all-ins than any SC2 tourney yet.

3 of each race were invited, and then 2 protoss and 4 terran qualified I believe?

To anyone that's unfamiliar with the Intel Extreme Masters:

The European Championship has started a few months ago with 24 players competing in it in an online group stage (before that we had national and international qualification).

There were several Zerg and Protoss players in here, many others have failed to qualify this far:

http://www.esl-world.net/masters/season5/europe_sc2/

This is what a "natural selection" of players throughout the tournament has brought us: 10 Ts and 2 Ps. While we would prefer a more balanced race distribution, those are the best players in the tournament so far. Each of those 12 players has played 5 or more matches to get to the live final.

Like it or not, this reflects the state of the game in Europe over the months that have gone by. We would rather wait for the balance of the game to change than to discriminate against players who have earned their place among the 12 best in the continent fair and square.

wow what a horrible race distribution.. I hope this is a rare occurence, because if it gets any worse, we'll be seeing an all-terran tournament.

A protoss better win this!

White-Ra has shown so good results lately, he is back in shape and ready to once again dominate the European scene.

Since this qualification there has already been a big shift. Protoss is doing much better now in the euro tournaments, winning bascially as much, maybe even more then the terrans. Only zerg is still rarely seen in the final of tournaments.

it should be noted that qualification for this began shortly after release when zerg was having a very difficult time against terran thus most zergs weren't able to win their national cups and those that did were eliminated in the qualifying rounds.

If I was to type exactly what I thought of this race distribution, I'd get temp-banned.
Instead: good luck Socke, White-Ra and DeMusliM

this is a non-argument. Like saying that there are not that many asian bballers in NBA because there are not that many top tier asian bballers. While true the real issues are the causes underlining that.
