I am 20 and still play pokemans on emulators every few months.

I do the same lol, but i feel having been the appropriate age when i developed the initial craze makes it more acceptable.

The real reward for the top players in Code A is a shot at getting into Code S (and if you're a finalist choosing who you play against), if they make it that's a guaranteed 1.5m won for next season on top of what they've won in the Code A tournament. If they don't make it, then why would they deserve to be winning more than the guys participating at a higher level in Code S?

Is the Code A winner even guarenteed a Code S spot?

But regardless I know thats the 'real reward'. But as to why they deserve more?

They played and _won_ a month long tournament involving 15+ games and that deserves a LOT more respect than someone who played and bombed out in 2-3 games on one night.

I certainly think it needs more prestige or it dilutes the interest in the code A tournament.

Represent!

If I could only play one game for some random hypothetical reason it would definitely be pokemon.

Kinda like how Nazgul is 'captain' of Team Liquid?

But the oGs team already has someone with Nazgul's roles - oGstheWind should be the manager and Spunky takes care of the rest

Starcraft 2 pro-scene doesn't have as much prestige as some other scenes (SC:BW and, if I am hearing correctly, War3), so it doesn't have that much viewrship. We should probably cut GOM some slack, they are investing a lot of money in a scene that probably isn't that big at the moment (at least in Korea).

loner did great at the first fight in the smoke with target fire on banelings but wish he just took a 3rd base instead right after instead of trying to finish the game.

He's probably on an iphone type thing while he's watching the games in the GOM studio.
