I wish he shut up with his biased, personal comments and concentrated more on actual games. I saw them a joke about TSL_Rain vs Choya matchup tomorrow: "There is going to be a lot of cheese in that one, hehhe". Rain is terran, Choya is protoss. It's just not Zerg, I think they are joking about cheesy players in general, you just haven't followed closely enough ![]()

Yeah and I'm aware that he does that to T/P players as well. But he does that in such a personal way to zergs, usually labeling them as all-in'er or cheeser. He even labeled nestea as ling/roache all-in'er in season 2 until he reached the final, and constantly tried to remind viewers how shitty he was when even I could see nestea was such a solid player compared to, say, zenio. I'm guessing it's because he plays Z. Inferiority complex, maybe?

I'm guessing it's because he plays Z. Inferiority complex, maybe? Eh, he has labelled a lot of players as "cheesers. "BitbybitPrime" for example. He also said during Boxer match "if you want to show you can TvZ 2-rax rush is not the way to do it", or something like that when topic was that "Boxer wants to show his TvZ skills". I don't see anything personal. If you mean detailed explanations of how it went wrong or how it was wrong, well, he did that to HungOnPrime too for forge-expanding. Maybe you are taking it personally because of playing Zerg? Besides I don't see why he should be neutral in any way. He can have opinions. Just discard his opinion and move on if you don't like it. The players will prove themselves by winning.

But personal attack isn't pleasant to listen to. Some of Artosis' "opinions" borders on personal attacks, and that's what I'm uncomfortable with, especially when those have no basis. (have not seen Kyrix doing anything cheesy before he's cheesed, for example)

If you look at the Code S initial distribution it was 9-14-9 (P/T/Z). For Code A (where I think a differences occurred in Season 2/3), 6-10-8 which is at least more even for Zergs. What are you talking about? Terrans had less qualifiers in season 1 than 2 and 3. With the three seasons combined the semifinalists have been 8 terran, 2 zerg, and 2 protoss. There is no down trend for terran, they just always do well.

Well, my thought is that Artosis has an "opinon" as to "how zerg should be played", and anyone who doesn't play that way - especially if he's being successful despite Artosis' unfriendly predictions (Kyrix, and Nestea before the season 2 final) - is instantly looked down on by Artosis. Which is kind of pathetic, to be frank. Of course he does that to P/T players as well (one base player gets the most hate from him, unless he's Boxer/Foxer/MC), which is annoying. Some of the tactics are definitely considered cheese (cannons, marine/scv, etc.), IMO. But not every strategy out of one-base is cheese/all-in. Heck you can even transition into mid-game after 4 gate.

I'm going to employ the Fox News argument here. Is Artosis a journalist? Is he bound by fact? What he says as a commentator is nothing more than his own opinion, and nothing more than that. It's up to you to decide whether you agree or not. I would much rather hear the candid opinions of a commentator even if I don't agree with them, than the dry 'facts' spoken by a 100% truth-bound commentator, because it's more interesting to the viewer and reveals a well-informed person's thought process. Right or wrong, Artosis is certainly well-informed.
