Because Junwi WAS incredibly behind, losing that first overlord is a huge problem. He just happens to be a thousand times better than Tankboy and so being behind wasn't that big a deal.

Hey guys. The observer can understand English fairly well and Jay is there just in case. Artosis and Tasteless are happy with him although there is still room for improvement. I dare say if Tasteless didnt mention about the new observer none of you would have complained.

Awesome, my only concern was whether or not the observer could understand English. That actually makes me feel a lot better.

Never watched BW, but new guys to SC2 it's one of those cool stories bout some old guy getting good after having ages of never quite making it.

Guess the obs / Tastosis thing needs some time for them to get used to each other. The commentary feels much better now though and pretty sure the obsing will flow better with time as they learn each others styles. edit: Haters gotta hate Junkka :>

the first one was pretty much asking why he was so good at bw, but bad at SC2 and junwi said he was in a slump near the end of BW and is still in the same slump.

and then he asked him why nestea was bad at bw but now domming SC2, and why he was so good at BW and not really good at SC2, and then asked him how he was gonna lessen the skill gap between the two.

Junwi said that nestea 2v2'd alot during BW, but now dedicates his time to only 1v1 in SC2, and that Junwi has to be more dedicated to get better.

@John: Tasteless is obviously showing some frustration about not being the observer. Sometimes he notices something that he would have never noticed AS the observer, and becomes impatient and makes everyone aware that something else is going on in the minimap.

haha john - very brave ending comment there.. but you're john so we love you.

There is a definate drop off in quality; particularly when Artosis is saying "look here, look here" and the observer isn't responding. I know these things take time, so i am not so mad; it is just painful to here the casters comment on something and not being able to see it on the screen.. and then the casters have to ask 3/4 times before he responds..

Things can only get better ..

I definately think the independent observer is a great idea so yay
