Any restreams? Lags alot for me! Tyler was restreaming but was asked to take it down.. so just lower your resolution to 240p and good luck

The main sponsor of this event is Justin TV, it may be problematic for some people (myself included) to watch, but it's irrational to moan that one of the primary sponsors of the events doesn't want people rehosting it on a competitors website :/

There are also tons who can't, myself included. If Justin TV aren't going to allow restreams then they should at least make sure they can actually provide their service to those who want to watch. Obviously they can't.

You can't honestly expect them to allow a restream; i mean if they did it would be very nice.. but they are paying money to be a sponsor and promoting some other site that provides the same service would be completely ridiculous.. Every stream site lags for some region in the world - there is not much justin.tv can do about it; they aren't offering sub-optimal services just to fuck with you.. This is one of the positives and negatives of stream sites as sponsors.

A small portion??? there are over 1000 people who watched tylers stream because justin.tv isnt able to provide a proper stream

This is one of the positives and negatives of stream sites as sponsors. And that's why having a streaming service as a sponsor is a bad idea. You will fuck over some part of your audience no matter what as long as you don't allow for restreams. Also exactly how is Justin sponsoring this? I thought all the prize money was donated from reddit members, but I might be wrong about that. This whole thing might sound whiny if your stream is working fine, but it's very frustrating when you have to watch a slide show in 240p. Especially when ustream, livestream, own3d, etc, works flawlessly in comparison.

Actually, own3d has been having problems lately, and seems that more people have an easier time viewing streams on livestream/justin.tv over ustream. Take the TL Open last night that djWHEAT/Chill hosted.. there were plenty more people that couldn't view that than the RedditSC tournament being hosted now.

We want more money into esports at the moment i dont think we can be selective about which sponsors hehe.. but yeah; shitty stream sucks to watch on so i do understand ![]()
