Just wanted to say the casting last night was awesome, Incontrol and Diggity were really entertaining. Those games with Kiwikaki were a great way to end the day. Thanks to all involved, and looking forward to tonight's games.

One thing I would like to say though, is it would be nice if there was more moderation in the chat on Justin.TV. There was often a load of immature people making gay jokes are just saying random offensive things, so I ended up just closing the chat. Obviously the chat is probably lowest priority, but it's good for a sense of community if it's used properly.

Kinda disappointed that no redditor made it out of the groups, but it was expected. Shows the difference between a really good casual gamer and a pro gamer.

They are called upsets for a reason mate.

Redditors showed many strong plays, but the tournament experience AND training of the pros tilted the results in their favor.

I think it would be unfair to complain about digity, for real. If I should give some criticism, he is a
little bit monotonous and could use a little bit more variation in his voice usage, but as the main caster he did a good job, and together with Incontrol as the commentator they made a very decent team which I would not mind at all to see again later!

This has been great so far, excellent casting, and apart from the technical difficulties, as Tasteless would say, it's all through the vehicle of technology... or something, some of the games were a real treat. KiWi showed there's so much potential for creative and entertaining play

Looking forward to today's matches

Love the recap link idea i suppose it should be expected that no redditors made it out of the group stages; was kind of hoping for psy to bust a move hehe!

The casting team is pretty awesome; all round a great event; cannot await for the rest of the pro games!

When I was watching him go for the first hatchery I thought: "yeah, he's going to snipe it and recall home his troups when the zerg units come, but will he really have enough energy?"

Then I watched him kill the first hatchery. I waited for the recall, none came... He ran around, blinked, didn't die anything almost. Got the second hatchery. "Okay okay, good, recall!" I thought. Still no recall. Then he even gets into the main base and kills that final hatchery, and then recalls.

Really, really amazing.

I kinda wish this used GSL bo1 groups, just so some of the redditors could have cheesed their way through the group stage - the rage here would power a small nation.

I gotta say, I liked the way incontrol and diggity handled the fenix-morrow situation, as casters. I think incontrol was right on the money about morrow's rage qq frustrated comments after fenix dropped - calling them unjustified and asking for a bit more professionalism, without just ripping into morrow himself. (and not calling them rage or qq). I think that's part of why sports programs have current or retired pro players as commentators - not just because they have a unique insight (they often aren't super creative, especially in major sports like football) but because they can comment on some aspects of their game and not be accused of not knowing what they're talking about. In SC, I think that's part of why I enjoy watching Day[9] and tastosis, and now incontrol - even though I think artosis is full of creep some of the time, I feel like I can trust those three when they talk about what it's like at the very top levels of competitive play.

My only complaint of Diggity's commentating (and i've watched him for years, back to BW) in this case was he talked too much at one time. Incontrol seemed to have trouble getting a word in much of the time. What Diggity was saying was great most of the time, but you had a co-caster. Don't go an entire min + without letting him say a single thing.
