Holy shit, I go check the list out and the first name is ST_Rainbow. Then ret right after... o.O Craaaazy line-up.

I don't like the so-called filler slots for finns, though. I really hope that all the high level foreigner slots got filled before they let some of those admittably mediocre finns in, and wasn't just because of them being from Finland.

Impressive list but some noticeable players are missing like White ra, dimaga, Lucifron, Goody, Mana.. Did they refuse?
Besides since you invited Gruby you could invite ToD and Moon that would be cool :p

I'm surprised that someone is actually expecting BETTER quality of players in tournament. Hell, it's 5k prizepool tour in FINLAND; how many people do you expect to be interested in it? I was shocked that there even were enough people willing to pay the 50e (or at least make the application) buyin. Who knows how many of them will eventually lack balls to show up, but I think the list of players is pretty remarkable to caliber of this event.

Clearly there ain't enough big LANs if popularity is at this level. One high level LAN like this every 2 week would be awesome

Is it easier for Russians to get visas to go to Finland as opposed to Sweden or Germany?

If not I suspect BRAT_OK might be sitting this one out as well.

fantastic list of players. I notice that the players are listed by team and then the teamless are listed at the bottom. Most of them are unknown but I did notice Konna in there and he was a very good wc3 player and someone people might overlook.

You dont need a visa to Finland if you are from EU countries like Sweden or Germany. And it is not hard at all to get visa if you are a Russian.

BRAT_OK has severe difficulty getting into european countries, he was denied visas for IEM Gamescon in Germany and DreamHack in Sweden.

Woah ST.Rainbow as the sole Korean player there (unless ret/huk are counted). Curious to see how he does as he hasn't been too hot in the KR scene lately.

I think Huk is a strong favourite this time judging from his recent performances in ladder

For some reason, the thought of Rainbow trekking all the way to Finland is amusing. =D
