That was one of the most intense series I have ever seen. It was not really back and forth, just little movements, army placement, scouting. That was the way the game was meant to be played and Jinro came out on top. Go Gorilla Terran!

I mean, regardless if he had it or not, those colossi melted in 3 seconds to the 14 vikings. I mean, the only difference that it would make would be that the one-two shots that the Colossi managed to fire before dying would hit some marine/marauders that are farther back, instead of hitting the ones in the front. Big deal.
Another way to look at it is this: all players (ok, maybe not Flash) make mistakes. Jinro played really aggressively/tight to get a two-game lead. He was due to catch a mistake of Choya's over the next three games.
Yes, but even more than that, it's not like choya played any differently because of he didn't have thermal lance. I mean, he made a mistake that ended up costing him nothing, really, because his Colossi died really fast anyways.
I mean, let me put it this way, if choya had forgotten thermal lance and Jinro would have nuked 6 of his Colossi, sitting idle, let's say, and then went on to win the game, would people still say that choya lost because he forgot thermal lance?

May not have turned the game around, but thermal lance is more than "just hit a few more marines." With lance, your colossi are far back enough that the vikings can't just snipe them from a mile away with no risk of retribution.

So you are arguing that a huge increase in range for collosi is not a big deal? Not smart. Range is huge buddy. It causes the collosi to be able to hit and run easier, wittling away at m&m. It allows the collosi to get into the fight while staying behind the stalkers which can fend off the vikings easier. It kills m&m before it can get close enough to do damage to the collosi... obviously the point is that with the range upgrade, they would not have melted in 3 seconds.
