I realize he's not the Chojja from BW lol, but I changed the spelling just for you. :p
On a purely personal note, I'd like to show Yellow the beauty of infinitely repeating Starcraft 2 bunkers. -Boxer

I don't think MarineKing will be able to 2:0 Leenock, that kid has improved a lot (and he was already a solid player in season 2)... his play is more stable than Kyrix and provided he can drag the game out, his chances of winning are very good.

July plays rather safe, the only way MC will beat him will be early game by surprise or if July is stubborn with mass muta and MC counters with Phoenix completely... otherwise if the game drags on and he is flexible, it looks better for July.

Jinro is my pick to win if he can just play a safe game and drag it out.

MVP is just sick good, so it'll be quite the shock if he loses to Choya.

lol, that kid 6 pools NaDa and another toss last round. That's what you call solid ?

Polt wasn't uber good in the last round, they were pretty much all BO wins for both sides.

I believe in the chin.

Mmm I think we'll be seeing only 1 protoss in the ro8, and that's pretty much contributed to hongun's opponent playing absolutely terrible
I may appear to be an emotionless sarcastic pos, but just like an onion when you pull off more and more layers you find the exact same thing everytime and you start crying

6pool is strong against forge FE, which Gpig did pretty much exclusively, it was a good 6pool because it beats the opponents metagame.

Wow nice maps! Hard to believe maps are not rigged. Almost all the Zergs were getting 2/3 absolute crap maps from ro64 and ro32. But ro16 maps are actually pretty good and balanced for all the Zergs. Guess they don't want too many Terrans again
I astonish myself everyday

People are more accepting of cheese if it comes from players who have already proven that they can play other styles successfully (eg: Fruit 6 pooling Inca in GSL1, JD 4 pool vs Flash in MSL finals etc). After his series against Clide I don't think Leenock really has too much left to prove in that regard. He's certainly not in the same category as ActionJesuz or BitbyBit =/

It's good for Leenock to vary his play occasionally to throw his opponents offguard. If you play Idra you KNOW that he will never 6 pool so you don't need to worry about it, but against Leenock you always have to take that possibility into consideration, which makes him harder to play against.
Don't hate the player, hate the game

Last round was a calculated 6 pool. 2 pylons, forge and cannon almost adds up to the loss of drones/mining time of Leenock. Also remember that he made drones again when he was still in the dark. And that he harassed his mineral line quite a bit. And that he denied any form of fast expansion for toss.

It worked. And it was calculated. That is ok in my book.
I had a good night of sleep.

MarineKing, Leenock, MC and July all in the same quarter of the bracket is just unfair. They could easily be all the semi-finalists. Random seeding, eh? At least we get some great games this round.

Jinro is going to have a hard time but I think Polt seems a little gimmicky while Jinro is the more solid player. If he can stop early aggression from hurting him too much I think he's got a very good shot of acquiring that Code-S we all want to see him get.

Jinro can win this game, but it's going to be a great fight between these two good terrans. To be honest, I feel like Jinro is going to win, which I hope comes true!

This is the furthest a foreigner has gotten in a Korean tourney in a long time... I hope chinro doesn't crack under the pressure. The best of luck to him, and I really hope he makes it into the next round, but even if he doesn't this is a majjjor accomplishment. Congrats already!
