Lol at the terribad english from that one guy in orange xD and also thumbs down for their stunt by cutting off any possible interviews with the 4 top placed players and less of Day9 showing as he's the star of DH, we all know it
But hands, arms, limbs up high for Day9 being such an awesome super balling caster and interviewer, he made DH worth while.
Now DH needs to go back and review how they want to make their tournaments... by starting with a better way of elimination rounds and making it BO3 instead. :O
Naama and Mana are promising players, they should go to korea for GSL for sure, and now their team got the money for it too

Haha they pulled a couple people too many on stage. With those sponsors you would have figured you would be getting something other than a waterbottle lol.

the award ceremony and the raffle are kind of anticlimactic
tournament organizers should definetely work on better award ceremonies, I can hardly think of any good award ceremony in a sc2 tournament...they always make players look dumb

Side note again, I saw oGsTOP started to falter greatly at the end. It may be that in Korea, you play a single BoX by day whereas in Europe or USA you have to advance the tournament. I may be completely wrong too. It may also be the flight to Europe and jet lag that caught him back. I wonder.
They are having daily ranking tournaments in the oGs house. They also play upwards of 20-30 games a day I think? He should be more suited to the stamina of an event than anyone else there - although it is certainly true that sleeping and jetlagging can really mess with you.

can u even qualify for gsl anymore? wasn't gsl 3 the last open season

lol the ones at the end were probably like "hell yeah! headphones!"
then when the water bottles came out they were like -_-....
|
Wow, those final games were SO intense! They were better than most GSL games I've seen this far, not maybe in the skill level but in the crowdpleasing way! SO MANY STORMS!

all in all i'm shocked how weak this tournament was.. nothing compared to gsl.. especially in season 3 there are these awesome teams like fOu or TSL.. not even mentioning the others..
most dissappointed by the liquid guys and ogs top.. they can't be satisfied with their performance..

Only saw a little slack @ macrolvl (only on meta), which can be overlooked when you have 3/4 bases you're mining from and needing to focus on such back and forth action.
No, it really can't be overlooked. It's like saying we can overlook their bad macro because it's not easy anymore. The games were highly entertaining though and these are the type of games I want to see.
