Well, this is the first time in the GSL a terran actually had a long macro game against zerg and did decently. Terrans are just not meant to have such long games. It was epic though.

I remember when Shakuras Plateau was first added to the ladder there was a MASSIVE outcry about how bad it was going to be and how it was an old beta map that was removed. Yeah, about that. I think it's the BEST map in the pool.

I completely agree. I got flamed to bits for it last time he got eliminated though. But if you really are that good, you should not lose to a Zerg who isn't top 10 zerg when you get two very good TvZ maps to open up.
Are we talking about Clide being successful or good?

Definitely agree. Almost always see macro games on this map and huge engagements at key chokepoints.

that. series. was. epic.
game 3 was easily the best game of starcraft i have ever witnessed.
but, what i really loved is how it showed that terran VS zerg (late game) is where it needs to be and is very very balanced.
