Seeing both Haypro and Ret dominate the way they did is heartening that there will be a lot of really strong showings in Season 3. Ret, an outside chance? I would've bet my e$port bucks on him over all the rest, although I liked Jinro and HuK's prospects as well.
I was going off sc2spectator's predictions.

right cuz that's a crazy scenario, having a SC2 gamer be the same name as an old BW legend.
what'd be REALLY weird is if they had like the old BW legend AND the SC2 player who stole his identity in the same tournament! and then like, the community would have to come up with a temporary id for the new guy and it'd be a clusterfuck and stuff...
ya that'd be so weird.

I thought I read some rumor that he was ST-Monster now or something? I may be pulling that out of a hat though.
Edit: beaten and vindicated by the master.

He's using 스타테일괴물 (ST.Monster) on ladder now.

Yea, but they don't know shit 'cause they just jumped on the SC2 bandwagon I bet

Why isn't there a rule in gsl to not allow existing progamer names. How much confusion and wasted broadcast time with explanations had this caused?

What are you on about? Ret is probably one of the favourites to go the furthest in terms of foreigners. No one is surprised. We all know he had the potential months ago if he committed himself and he did. That's why he's dominating now.

-_- Not if he plays the way he did last time. Pretty much. They gave me the impression he was, ya know, good. To be fair, he did have ONE good game. haha so true He has flashes of brilliance, but when he's backed into a corner he seems to just crumble. Backed into a corner? He used a strat twice that didn't work and game 3 was still really close. He also said he wasn't doing well at the time because his mother was really sick.
You can see it in a lot of his games, when he gets hit with something he isn't prepared for he starts messing up. He's definitely a great player, but I just don't think his psyche is where it should be. Having a sick mother definitely is a good reason for that and I hope the guy does well this season.

Don't worry that's very unlikely, no one remembers BW anymore. ;]
