Qualifying does not determine skill one bit. You need skill to qualify, but it does not show that someone who qualified is better than someone who does not. Eg. Tester who didn't qualify during S2 is still considered the best Toss.

GSL qualification says very little about a player. It is a fact that some groups are insanely hard and others aren't. If Huk gets matched up against Idra, Zenio and Tester and still qualifies everyone will recognize it as an accomplishment, but if he gets 2 byes, and 2 1500 diamond players who were just in the area, then he would be expected to qualify.
Judge Huk by who he beats/loses to (and how), not by whether he qualifies or not.
