This obv means IdrA is very close. He'll get it for RO64 or RO32 placement in this GSL. Not really. Even if Idra doesn't qualify for GSL 3, he still have a good chance to get the s code.

You don't get any credit for not qualifying for RO64, so I don't see how he'd get it after not qualifying for this. Unless you mean starting out as A-class in GSL4, and winning his way into S-class. That's possible, but he won't have it from the start if he doesn't qualify for this GSL.

Anyone who makes the RO8 automatically gets S-class, that's why IdrA was one win away last time. But there are 32 S-class spots and only 24 RO8 players across 3 events (actually at most 23 now, since HopeTorture has made it twice), so the remaining guys just get it on the sum of their results, and a RO16 + RO32 has a good chance of being enough even if IdrA fails to qualify this time around.

I'm probably going to be beaten to this but with 3 tournaments and 32 places in code-S, the ro8 winners will only take up 24 tops (not including players who got there multiple times like ITR), leaving a number of places to go to those who have the highest rank outside of reaching the top 8. Whether or not IdrA would be up there with the others I don't know. edit: DOUBLE BEATEN HELL YEAH

There are 32 spots in Code S. 8 of them are given out to the Top 8 of GSL Season 1 8 of them are given out to the Top 8 of GSL Season 2 8 of them are given out to the Top 8 of GSL Season 3 That leaves 8 leftover seats PLUS any seats taken by the same player (Hopetorture was in both GSL 1 and 2 top 8). Because EG.IdrA placed in the Ro16 in GSL2 and Ro32 in GSL1, he has one of the best records for players that are not Top 8, so he is extremely likely to get Code S. The only player with a better record than EG.IdrA currently is CheckPrime, placing Ro16 in both GSLs.

I thought to myself, why the reverse karma for my good deed? But it turns out, it's to balance out for today's qualifiers. Turtle-pee reverse-karma means that Huk, Ret, Tasteless, Idra will all qualify today! And I think Tester will get there without any turtle help.
