With SC2 mechanical skill isn't really the differential at the highest level, but game sense, micro and unit composition. Then again, if he really wanted to rely on his great mechanics he wouldn't choose a map like steppes that is perhaps the most micro intensive and least forgiving map in any MU as 1 misstake and the opponent is already in your base. I'm still your #1 fan nony!

Sorry, a bunch of ppl with lower SC2-expectations than Tyler have beaten Idra. You wanna compare how good relative to other players Tyler was in BW compared to SC2? It's pretty obvious the difference.

Tyler had a really good showing at MLG Dallas; the field was outrageously stacked and he finished fourth (going out 2-4 to PainUser in an extended series which he began down 0-2). In the LB he eliminated SeleCT, Ret, and Machine in back-to-back-to-back matches...that's pretty sick.

But I think if you were to put up a poll on if Tyler has met your expectations how how well he'd do in SC2 at this point in time ... most ppl would be disappointed. And couple that with what Tyler himself has been saying about how he feels so strong in SC2... it's even more disappointing.
