Congrats to the TeamLiquid squad, amazing performances, specially to Jinro. Probably the funniest MLG so far, specially day2, so many good players.

Still, this shows the difference between korean and "foreigners".

Well, it wasnt Battlenet after all. It was MLG that was having problems.

I doubt this; pretty sure DJWheat said that just to take the heat off B.net.

Either that or neither Blizz nor MLG are at fault - the way he told it sounded an awful lot like "some random error, somewhere between battlenet servers and MLG", which would make more sense anyways, since their stream was still running absolutely okay.

Gratz Jinro and Team Liquid, you owned that MLG =D

just because the error wasn't in the bliz servers doesn't mean that it isn't their fault for not implementing LAN.

Until foreigners evolve their games to a more solid play than just 1 base timing pushes, i fear for hope of seeing foreigners in finals of GSL. Despite the amount of games that were just 1-2 base timing pushes it was still exciting tournament but could of been much more.

GSL qualifiers are pretty artibtrary. You might be up against boxer or you might be up against someone who's name you've never heard and get cheesed into oblivion. [/QUOTE]

so is it really gonna take another year to have this international lineup of players to compete again? makes me so sad :/
I'll bite this hand that feeds me, and take it for my own!

I think so too. I was trying to play during the down time and all my games dropped. Friends were experiencing the same. Coincidence?

Or you're using the same ISP as MLG?

Yay I'm glad Jinro won over TT1. He seems like a cool guy.

And with TT1's past, I dunno, just can't bring myself to support him.

I guess my biggest complaint about this isn't even the technical B.net issues but the fact that the H3 team wins $60k for first and Jinro is only pulling down $6.25k. Here is to hoping they up the prize pool in the next season.

They've been playing Halo for 7 years though. It'll go up as sponsors come.

TT1 was obviously disturbed because of the break, but Jinro earned that, he would've most likely won in the end anyway.

Bwlergh stayed up 2 hours only to see that xD oh well 4hours sleep before advanced physics inc :X

Actually, that 1 base push is 100% undefendable and 100% unscoutable. It doesn't matter how TT1 played really.

Fanboy fail.

Foreigners tend to say fuck a lot. That's what you get from learning English through pop culture. I mean, we even use it a lot as a loan word. 'Fuck' in Swedish isn't a very bad word
