They signed up for the tournament knowing the rules, complaining about them is just stupid. If you don't like how its ran, you don't sign up. I am sure the players are whining far less than these forums. Complaining about them with the intent on getting them to change the rules for future events is a good idea. No reason to stay silent and he said it in a very rational way. This has been how it has been for ALL MLG events. Not just SC2, but every other event at MLG.
MLG seems like the kind of people who will change this for future events if there are enough people who don't like it on the player and spectator side. They won't change it mid season, but that doesn't mean they won't ever change it.
