Past results have shown that in tournament settings, people do whatever it takes to win (imagine that! gasp!) Ie. hence why Morrow 5 rax reapered vs. Idra every game. So if the timing attack was unstoppable, it WOULD be done every game. Any argument to the contrary is wrong; it is just really strong to use once in a while for an unprepared/greedy Protoss (like it was done here.) So match fixing is okay because whatever it takes to win, mirite?

- getting templar up in time? no way
- u can swing around with phx, but they wont do crap in the final push, because of pdd (if u can get a raven or some banshees hes terrible anyway)
- more gateway units, also get owned by pdd and no aoe Okay pro, what do you suggest Protoss do?
first of all, to say this: there are serious design issues in pvt, blizz seems to not be aware of all of them
but to say what i figured out when t is teching is opening with a stargate and early phoenix, they get raven first if they do this, you should try to snipe the raven, it dies really really fast
and you can do the same if they were going banshees without raven
perhaps transitioninig into vrs after that 2/3 phoenixes, depends if he gets any more banshees
or transitioning into charge since it works 'ok' when mmball is in small numbers (and in this case it is since all the money invested in the tech)
so tldr: stargate, snipe raven/banshes into charge or vrs
edit: this also leaves some flexibility against marine tank push or thors
but you wont be able to defend thor svc marine rush no matter what you do, is it vr or immortal its impossible to do, another great example of a design issue

Losers finals will be TT1 vs whoever wins between Tyler and Taylor.

It's so so so so good and it completely destroys most standard Protoss builds if you execute it wel I have a feeling that lots of Terrans are going to be doing that build on the ladder now. Hehe, I have been doing it since forever. It rolls much more skilled Protoss even if I just A-move, throw down PDD and hit stim
A lot of Terran execture this build, its an old build. Protoss started going phoenix/coloss/zealots to counter it though. But nowadays every protoss is trying to FE before scouting the Terran base so I guess this build will be coming back to the ladder match ups.

There are replays of this but i dont know where :/ ??? theres no point having an argument if it can be stopped or not IT CAN no doubt, difficult or not it can be stopped

Tyler's down 3-0
Lets go 4 game win streak!!!

It looks fairly old with the faded white and it doesn't have curved keys at all

People whining about colos need to try playing toss - you'll absolutely need them to handle bioball. What'd I've done? This just accured to me/how about this: make the colos, make only zealots and sentrys from gates, kill ground, then warp in stalkers to deal with banshees. (of course the early harras is forcing alot stalkers, been there done that)

OMG are we actually seeing Tylers screen of his match against PAinuser instead of the VoD?!?

hes using a qsenn / samsung dt35 keyboard

Did he win that one? But does 2nd/3rd still fight it out? Ahh... need bracket. Double-elimination Tyler vs Painuser bo7, Painuser starts with a 2-0 lead loser is 4th winner advances to play TT1, the loser of that is 3rd the winner plays Jinro and must when 2 bo3s where Jinro only has to win 1, that match will be for the championship
Unless TT1 win's the loser's bracket finals, then since Jinro already beat him just now the grand finals will be an extended bo7 as well with Jinro starting up 2-1.

Painuser is up 1-0. If Tyler loses this game I believe he's out.

The way they work is you scout them early enough and you prepare. TTone wasn't prepared. Timing push worked. I haven't seen a game where Protoss stops it yet. I never play T but I actually tried it myself and I stomped every Protoss while I didn't even have a proper build. The PDD in combination with Banshees and marine/stim dps is just insane. I'm glad I only ever faced (got destroyed) by this once so far on the ladder. Force the PDD somewhere other than your ramp, fall back, timing push avoided since the raven can't PDD twice. Trippy graphics there MLG.
Force PDD Somewhere else? How will you run away from marauders with concussive exactly? The major flaw with TT1's play is his overall scouting and lack of map presence, he should have stalkers initially patrolling the map or xel naga towers to see what is coming/prevent any scv scouts. In game 3, like others mentioned he scouted a raven and no expansion and continued his game plan, he should have just tried to squeeze out many more warp gates and get a better sentry /immortal composition.

If he had, he prolly would have gone more gates instead of the earlier robo and would have had more units to defend with.
