How are you going to select candidates for the pool? What goes into the criteria- skill level, time of sign up, etc.

I think the selection process is in the OP as well. If not, it has been stated before. There are reserved spots for people who have won or done extremely well in the past, and the rest are chosen with both of the criteria you mentioned in mind. Skill level and time of sign-up both have - something - to do with it. But this is why we are working to increase the player pool to 128, so that almost everyone who has been signing up can play. We don't want to exclude top quality players, nor do we want to exclude good players who are very excited about the tournament. Wolf does his best to accommodate, and he does an excellent job. So keep signing up, because it let's us know that we will need a 128 tournament either next week or the week after, and no one is excluded solely on the basis of signing up later.
