ghost when the opponent doesnt have any templars or immortal ??
its a LOT of gas for not much One immortal had 21 kills, another one had like 12 kills. Not because theyre so strong, they were simply more in the back and hard to reach, a emp wouldnt have changed much. Were talking about 300/250 to ''maybe'' help kill 2 units. To me ghosts are just like templars, sure they are both ''the best'' unit in PvT, but they reprensent such a big investment that you cant just get them that easily in a game where every unit counts. One ghost with emp takes 300/200 and 80 secs to build. Ht takes 550/650 and 220 secs not really comparable to first get out. I compared them as being the best unit against the other race, and being also the hardest to pull out. Of course theres a bigger investment with HT (just like every protoss unit is more expensive, but also stronger 1 unit vs 1 unit) I just dont see ghosts as being such a good investment when theres really few immortals and no HT, sure they are still very good, but are they really worth it, if you count it that you kinda need the energy upgrades on the ghost, you could just pull off one more dropship with marauders for the same price as 1 ghost.
You realize a money emp does more damage then any other ability in the game... melting that front line twice as quick means that collosus have much less time to rape the mm.
Edit: Plus they can nuke and how cool is that i mean really.

What?? What do you mean only kill 2 units? Well placed EMP take shield and energy away. The faster the stalkers at the front fall the faster you can deal with the immortal and no energy is no FF which would make sentries a pile of trash. Maybe you can only kill 2 units because you emp some standing alone immortal.
It takes away 100 shield, over stalkers and zealot that is really not much for the investment. (for the price of that ghost, he can have 3-4 more stalkers, which is way more hp then what your emp will have done).
Also, I think a big reason why Select doesnt go ghost is because he doesnt usualllly go for straight upfront engagement, and splitting ghosts with every little forces he sends would be useless. He needs all the money he can get so that his main force that goes against the protoss army is as big as possible (since its usually split in half because of drops on the side)

They're football players. Football players tend to be super muscular black guys.

i think people will slowly realize colossi are a transition unit in PvT on the way to storm. and in some games, to carriers. just like in ZvT you get mutas to harass before infestor/ling/bling, and then there's that drop-off before ultras come out. you need colossi to threaten and defend expos and force vikings before storm comes out, at which point colossi become a situational unit.

Hope to see HuK win but SeleCT is playing so well and such an exciting player to watch! Wouldn't mind seeing either player tbh!

good series by 2 former wc3 players. felt like select was playing NE vs kaki's Orc all over again.
select was pretty good at wc3, was in clan SK for a while too. glad to know his hunt micro is getting good reuse in sc2.

If you wanna see good games dont watch it. HuK not even close to IdrA's level. I would suggest you watch IdrA vs qxc those games were amazing!

Day9 has been a beast with the camera in pretty much every game I've seen so far this tournament, I haven't really noticed him miss any tech or major fights/drops which unfortunately happened all the time in gsl.

i think that protoss users are expanding with way too fast and rely too much on sentries.
Wait too long you're behind both by getting a much slower expo and due to Mules. That then will fund any amount of agro which as long as it can chip away at your army will be enough to kill you. Small groups of marauders can absolutely neutralize and small engagement. They have the ability to dictate whether or not to engage between concussive and stim.
It could simply just be a PvT balance thing about Delta that we're discovering here. Toss needs closedish naturals against T.
ediT:
That's quite the list of games he's played.

God damn, people. Quit it with the Terran bullshit, please.

i would love to see select win this whole thing

LOL @ DAY9 hopping across the camera.

About those worried about Huk vs Idra - Huk didnt want to reveal his specially prepared builds yet. He knows he'll have to face Idra in the finals. Watch him go from " oh crap PvZ" to "Zerg? Meh"
