Ok great. Now let me tell you why. ESLtv is based out of Europe. Germany even. So when there is an event in Germany, obviously they are going to be able to haul their entire production setup to the venue and bring a level of production that you expect out of the ESLtv studios. This event is in New York. Obviously, that makes it much more difficult to match the same level of production when you can't just airlift your setup to NY. But what makes matters even worse, this even is being held at the Javits center. Having done nearly 5 events there myself, I can tell you that from a "streaming" perspective it is THE WORST venue in the world. Why? Here's an example... ME: "Oh shit I need this computer plugged into the wall so I can use it." *begin to plug in computer* UNION GUY: "WOAH BUDDY WHAT ARE YOU DOING???" ME: "I'm just plugging in this computer?" UNION GUY: "WOAH WOAH WOAH, that's OUR JOB, so you tell me what you need and we'll do it" ME: "Ok I need this computer plugged in..." UNION GUY: "OK I'll have someone on it in 20 minutes" *2 hours later* UNION GUY: "Done" That may seem super exaggerated but I SWEAR to you it's not. The Union has to do everything for you in that capacity. Now why does this matter? Because to add additional elements like camera men, video/stage projection, audio, etc. you have to pay for a union guy to set it up, and run it. I spoke to some folks from ESL prior to the event and they told me that in order to recreate what was done in Gamescom would take an amount of money that didn't really make it worthwhile. I'm not making excuses for ESLtv, they can defend themselves, however, I feel it's necessary to at least shed some light as to why the production level is no where near what it was at Gamescom. I think we should be appreciative of the fact that we have a free stream to enjoy StarCraft2 matches on... cause it could be worse - there could be no stream. I would love to have all the things folks have suggested in the thread... but know that just putting a camera next to a player is much harder than you might think. And in New York, with the unions... it takes 20 people to make happen. GG's so far. Enjoying the games at work. djWHEAT delivering the logic hammer on all of us as usual.. Thank you for the inside story, I figured it was something similar / due to the fact of the location.. but there you go.. end of argument

It wreaks havoc on Fenix's entire ground force! Fenix has air control and the battlecruiser is free to move against the ground. WOW what a series!!
