3 weeks ago I didn't even know this cup but with the high quality casts from HenningK and HomerJ plus the highly motivated administrators this cup already provided some very intense high quality games and overall very good entertainment.
This cup becomes a decent candidate for the "shooting-star" award of October/November which may put in in line with the few yet more established european cups.

Yeah it really threatens the Go4sc2 on wednesday(only points to earn vs 500 euro in cash/prices make it an obvious choice for professionals)

The final between Dimaga and HasuObs was not as close as the score 3:0 might suggest. I enjoyed a great evening. Repeat that next week, please!

3:0 is close ?

While it wasnt completely onesided I was never really in doubt that Dimaga was going to take the series. Dimaga really was one step better than everyone else in the tournament and sadly we dont see enough of him in the bigger tournament. I would like to see him attend the big tournaments like MLG cause I think he would do really great and not only is he a good player, he is also extremely entertaining to watch.

The cyborg cup tonight was okay, some reasonably good matches and I hope that you can attract another handfull of topplayers next time for a few more high level matches.

ya i think hasu should have won game 2 with an a go onto dimagas last base, but as you mentioned it was a nice series and dimaga was always one step better so he deserved to win.

Just one thing guys, don't you think it's a bit of a problem that the finals of these games usually end up being around 12 o clock at night? I've noticed this for many of the small cups... usually the games you actually want to tune into are the quarterfinals and up (or even semifinals and up), but they are "extremely" late.
