Not easy in the dark when people cheer for instance, you need a good camera witch a fast shutter&good lighting . If you are into photos and need some inspiration check out: http://www.julian-faulhaber.com/index.php?/ldpe/ He`s a skilled photographer from my area here and is quite famous :-) Oh he has interesting photos, the colors are really great and the compositions. He has a very clean and cold style. But I am not into HDR and photoshopping I prefer my non-flash photos with good light sensitivity, with fixed lenses and I have a bunch. I started shooting with Minolta when I was 9 yrs old. Started taking gaming photos at LANs when I was 14. The only thing I am looking for is someone who gives me 2000€ for a new wider fixed lense + Show Spoiler +
Good photos, hehe i know the equipment is super expensive, even more so if you want to do studio shots. iam a 3d artist and can create all kinds of lenses & cameras digitally (although making the models&stuff can be really time consuming). I took photography lessons at university and we had all the good stuff available.Do you want to make really distorted images with that wide lens or why do you specifically want it?
I like the gamerphoto the most out of the above bunch. its sharp at the right distance, the two guys really pop out & the mood/light is good . 1st one isgood too, its hard to control light spill outside.

Im wondering, is it actually mechanically possible to make sharp pictures of fast moving objects like a car or runner with such a lense? Sure would make quite an impression.

Damm, TaKe has a great job, I wish I would have that job.

I am hoping to take better photos of the eSports audience that attends the ESL Events and of the stage. And also as you said nice wide photos of moving objects like cars.
