I don't know if anyone posted something like this already but here are few tips for Octoshape if you can't get the stream running. This is from my PoV and problems I had so maybe you recognize yourself and you can fix it. Octoshape works perfectly for me on 32-bit linux (Ubuntu). $ ls -l $(which octoshape) (blah blah useless info) $HOME/bin/octoshape -> octoshape.dir/OctoshapeClient $ cat $HOME/Videos/Livestreams/tv.esl.eu #!/bin/sh octoshape -url:ESL.oph350 In addition to this, I have edited the octoshape configuration to launch mplayer instead of vlc. Right now mplayer has been running for over 3½ hours without a hiccup. | ||
