The prepay also covers the food/drink/t-shirt and spectator seat at the lan itself. If you aren't planning on going to the lan itself unless you qualify... wtf?

I can't believe I just found out about this. I drive by this place every day on my way to work, literally 5 mins from my house. Funny to think so many well renowned players + Day9 are gonna be there. Turns out I'll be working both those days, but I'd love to stop by after. Assuming individuals qualified for the round of 32 but fail to show up players will be filled in based on difficulty of their bracket and w:l ratio as determined by Xeris.

I guess I didn't think of it as a "free" spot. The people from ro 64 will have paid $15 to be in the tourney already. I have a sinking feeling that there may be 1 or 2 flakes in the ro 32. So, I was wondering if they were doing a seeding system to fill those probable gaps, or whether they would just let them go blank and a few lucky people get byes.

I guess a better way to phrase it would be,

"Diggity/Xeris, what happens if there are flakes in the ro 32?"

EDIT: haha, Diggity got to it before my response! Thanks for the explanation! I think that's a great way to handle it.

I just noticed I went from standby to RO64! I'm super excited. At what point should I expect to be added to a group, so I know who I am competing against for first qualifiers?
