that's opposite of a hero, the sites stances with Dimaga is to create a better environment for the players not for themselves even if you disagree have some respect we/they are trying to make this a better place for players

one has nothing to do with the other.
However denying yourself exposure this sort of tournament would bring because you are unwilling to partake for team Europe without your comrade and team's best asset at your side?
Yea sounds pretty heroic to me.

So because he traded win in the teamliquid star league ladder 1 year ago, it is logical that he should not participate in this event.

His penalty didn't include this clause...

It's not my decision at all whether he's in this or not. As a large SC organization we do support all sites and organizers working together on the punishment of players caught abusing or maphacking. Ideally a player caught cheating would not be allowed in any tournament (just as it is for every sport out there) then it would only a matter of time until cheating is completely erased from online gaming.

it wasn't 1 Year ago, it isn't even 6 months ago yet - as far as I know Gosugamers only banned them for 6 months.

Even if I'm a big Dimaga fan, I respect gosugamers decision and they're doing the right thing.
Demuslim's behavior is totally unprofessional by saying he won't play unless Dimaga plays too ... I mean what does he expect? To simply ignore that he cheated in past and remove his ban?
Also gosugamers got bashed alot by people who found it weird that Demuslim wasn't invited; after all it wasn't their fault and Demuslim acted like he had no idea "why the best terrans weren't part of the team".
I have nothing personal against Demuslim, I respect his skills, but he's not the guy to look for when it comes to professionalism in e-sports.

User received a warning. Without judging truth or no truth we kindly ask you to stop attacking DeMuslim all the time. It's a reoccurring issue in many topics and it's not something we can continue to tolerate. It's ruining the atmosphere.

the ban and its purpose would almost be nullified if the involved organizations weren't able to pull it through 100%.

the next guy who cheats knows what's on the line for him: he would commit reputational suicide and additionally kill his chances of earning money with sc for the time of his ban - and there is money in sc2 (already).

to be very strict in this regard is an important statement for the upcoming rts generation that develops around sc2

but that put aside:

really excited for the games today and tbh gosugamers didn't pick only the best of the best from both hemispheres but both teams have their "questionable" members who are still popular and fun to watch, so i think it's pretty even.
