its like eu's b team playing vs asia now T_T
(no offense)

I agree Muslim and Lucifron are sure invites they have had the best terran performances so far. What has Brat done in tournaments to be such a sure invite? He's good and would do fine playing for EU in this but he hasn't exactly done enough to be considered 'missing'. Dimaga can't be invited due to his TSL abuse, skill wise he's good enough but it's just not gonna happen.

Should have dropped HasuObs for one of Demuslim, BratOK or Lucifron, since a) They're all better than him, and b) 4 Protoss is a little excessive, especially with only 1 Terran in the team.

There are tons of non invite tournaments going on there must have been near 40 zotac/craftcup/go4sc it simply isn't the platform where you guarantee yourself invites to play for such a limited team, unless you do it like naniwa in highly impressive fashion. Like I said Brat is a good player who would definitely fit in in the team of this match but winning a single ESL doesn't guarantee you a spot in this at all, performing in the big invitationals does, something which Brat so far hasn't done. Both Muslim and Lucifron have performed in the big invitationals.

I'm American. (Oh noes). But, considering I love anyone and anything that plays Random, which is TheLittleOne; I'm hoping for Europe to win. Go europe!

Edit: Also, four Protoss. Dang.

Would of prefered it if EU/Asia decided on teams themselves, like deciding a team captain then actually discussing best possible lineups or something.
Not so keen on it this way :S, not really the best representation from either side which from an event like this i don't think it would of been too hard to get - and it would of really shown the difference in servers if any.

But there is also a difference between results in the past and results now, In the past players like lucifron where unstopable, but nowadays people find better ways to counter his aggressive builds. My opinion on Brat_ok is based on the replays i saw from him and the replays i saw from other top terran players from europe. I have seen a lot of replays from: demuslim, lucifron, brat_ok, strelok, jinro and tarson. From those players i have seen the most skills recently from Strelok and brat_ok. Why because they won recent tourneys and have a very solid gamestyle. Where some other terrans switch race now and then by match ups they feel uncomfortable with like demuslim with TvP into PvP. Then there is another thing i find really important and that is the backbone of some players. Lucifron has a big list of achievments now already but fails to macro when the game is longer then 20 min, maybe he has improved on this but i haven't seen much replays of him lately. Then there is my 3rd reason and that is that the consistency of the games i have watched from strelok and Brat_ok are much better then the other terran players. Of course strelok played sometimes stupid to go banshee's vs muta's but overal a very strong mechanical player. While some players are struggling now to improve are there other players who while take a leap in there gameplay.

And i am basing my opinions on a lot of replay knowledge and maybe I am wrong, but this is what i based upon to made the team a bit different.

Oh and by the way no bash to the players in my post! They are all insane, and still the strongest of the world atm. Much better than asia xP

Nice I've always wondered how the good zerg koreans would do against the best euro toss players.

Where you choose to perform is what counts no matter how many replays of them you have seen. Invites for something as large as this are based on results in the tournaments held in highest esteem by the community, that's how it works and that's how it should work. Not based on whether norlock thinks you have a backbone or can't macro. Lucifronn proved himself where it mattered don't take that away from him just because you can't find his skill in replays.

hmm, not sure where you get your info from saying bratok and strelok are "much better than the other terran players" as so far it wasn't them dominating tournaments - although i do agree bratOK is a monster, has been for a while but only just started to put his name on a tournament (the recent eslgo4sc2).
If you measure by consistency - the only terran you can put at the top is Lucifron, so i'm pretty sure you're going by favouritism.
