No English stream though. Anyway the bracket top 4 is probably the heaviest there has been so definitely worth checking out.

One thing I've realized from these games is that the top Asian players (like Sen) are frustratingly good at exploiting small holes in your play. That last game with White-Ra came down to a pylon and a forge placement, ultimately.

Maka: The Asia team will win :D The desire to win this competition is the main reason. We are not only aiming for the 1st place, but also carrying something much heavier. We want to win because we have to feed ourselves~~~:D
how do u beat someone who plays for food?
Good point.

For the upcoming matches, there are three Asian players who I do not think are as solid as the ones we've had so far (except for Dayfly, he isn't *that* solid either): Loner, Gerrard, and Eric. Of these, I think Eric is most likely to lose his series, so EU still has a chance to take at least one match, if not three, from the series. Maka is probably going to win his.
Hmm... Maybe 6-2?

Whitera got away with 2 early zealot rushes since lings are just so weak to them right now. But Sen still held those off pretty well with queen/ling play.
He definitely learned from his mistakes though and won the longer games and then in the 5th when Whitera yet again 10gate-chronozealed, countered with a perfect 4 lings while easily defending his expo.
Sen kept cool under pressure and managed to come back from 0-2. Great play by him.

Having said that, I think Europe has some very strong contenders coming up. Nazgul has always been good. TLO is a "genius," as they say Naniwa loves early pressure which can potentially counter the Asian macro. Haypro is just generally excellent. If the Asians had Freedom, Maka, Fruit Seller, and Hannibal up to bat, I'd probably still predict a 8-0 or 7-1, but with the current lineup Europe has a chance to come back 4-4, IMO.

Europe is getting manhandled

agree with you,ERIC is the most weak player in Asian team and Loner is so young and not solid

Does anyone know if there are any VODs available yet for yesterday's games by WhiteRa? I can't find them on Day9's Ustream, while Saturday's matches were available almost immediately.

Did TLO play already? Is there a stream up? Am I going crazy? Waaa. Link!!!

I think TLO is next week.

Anyone know if the replays from these matches will be released ? and if so, where they can be found.

Beta ends May 31st though, gotta get the matches in before that.

Yep, as i suggested in an earlier post, this is going too slow and now that we got confirmation that beta ends in less than 2 weeks, they should really change the schedule.

I'm glad the beta is ending earlier than expected. Hopefully we'll get to see more matches sooner :d

but of course you never know I think TLO is good and I don't hate him or anything, but I think you are getting it right. He got cute strategies and style, thats why he won a lot in the beginning, but those Asian players are rock solid and probably won't die to cheese , at least not 3 times.. Anyways, hopefully Haypro / TLO / Naniwa ? will take games.
I think you guys are off actually. Yes TLO plays cute... but he actually has some very impressive macro too(at least sometimes). I think it's underrated because of his cute play.
