As I grow to love the Starcraft community, I've been inspired to further my influence and involvement with it. Thus brings the tournament that I hope becomes a monthly event.
As of right now, I'm am paying the cash prize out of pocket, so first place will receive $50 to split amongst the teammates in a winner take all fashion. If the tournament turns out to be a success the cash prize will likely increase, as well as adding a 2nd and 3rd place payout.
All payments will be done through paypal, so please make sure atleast one of your team members has a paypal account set up.
The Rules:

Teams will be made up of 4-6 players. Each round up until Semis will consist of 4 1v1 matches, and 1 2v2. Each win will award that players team 1 point, and thus first to 3 points each round wins, and thus advances.
Each team must have a designated starter, that must start each set. The winning team of the first game must then announce their next player and their race, followed by the losing team. This process will continue, with the winning team choosing first up until all 1v1s are completed.
The Semi's and finals will be Bo7's rather than Bo5's, allowing each team to either revive 2 players (or for 6 player teams to put forth their other members, though they are not required to do so).
There will be a set map list for each round, which will be listed soon.
Disconnects: All disconnects will result in a replay of the match, unless one side is clearly extremely favored, and a replay is sent to me proving this to be the case.
If a player disconnects twice in the same game (after attempting to replay once) it will result in a loss.
Livestreaming: Livestreamers must be allowed to stream the game, if cheating via stream because an issue, the streaming will come to a halt, and players will have to wait for the streamers to stream the replays.

I was afraid of making the cash prize too high for the first tournament, due to the fact that I wasn't sure how big of a turn out I should expect. But with all the positive feedback after one day its very likely I will be adding more to the prize pot prior to the tournament date. Also, any donations will go directly to the pot, for this tournament and all of the following tournaments hosted by me in the future. Appreciate all the feedback and support. Glad to see teams are showing interest, and I'm very excited for the tournament to come.

Yeah, you can post here. I'm keeping a list. Teams can have up to 6 players (4 single players and 2 for the 2s team) or as few as 4 (2 solo players make up the 2v2 team). So if you register a 6 member team it gives you a little bit of a buffer for no shows.

Best of 5 - there would be 4 solos, assuming there isn't a 3-1. If both teams win 2 games, the tie breaker will be the 2v2.
Best of 7 - Same thing, except it'd come down to the solos being 3-3, rather than 4 - (< 3 ).
The final game of each set will always be the 2v2, which will only be played out as a tie breaker. If one side wins the required amount of games prior to the 2v2, they get the win, and don't have to play out the final matches.

im confused, in your rules it doesnt state how the 2v2 is played out... so it's like elimination style with 4 1v1's and then a 2v2 tiebreaker or?

The 2v2 will be the last game of every clan war. It will only be played out as a tie breaker.
For example. A team wins the first game, loses the next two, then wins the 4th.
That would make the score: 2-2
To get the required 3 points to advance rounds they would have to then win the 2v2 in order to advance.
But, the 2v2 doesn't need to be played out if one team gets the required amount of points prior to the 2v2 occurring.

Apparently there is a full reset coming with patch 12. If this occurs on Sunday, the tournament will be rescheduled most likely. Depending on server stability and time of the reset. If it happens before then, and there are any name changes, please inform me here to avoid any confusion on Sunday.

yea i agree, sometimes setting up a lineup a few days in advance is tough, so it would be nice to have some backups or w/e. Like i submitted 10 players at first, if 1 of my players were to not show up i think using one of my other listed players would be cool.

Incase of no shows, I'm allowing an addition 1 player to be added last minute to each roster if need be. I'll consider having larger rosters next tournament I hold.

Yea it seems like they are BO1's but only 1 game is played at a time. That could take a while.

Well unfortunately my teammates would rather do things like go to graduation parties and watch NonY vs IdrA on HDH than play in this tournament, so I'm going to have to FF.

it is 1 game at a time.
But there are really only like 4 rounds (ro32 with some teams with byes, ro16, ro8, ro4, finals).
I don't think that will take that long tbh .

No shows are given 15 minutes. If they don't show its awarded as a win. If after 30 minutes no members of their team are on to play your team will get a 3-0 and move on.

She isn't Storr. Storr is a guy who doesn't stream on his own channel anymore, Rhavanna uses it exclusively now.

BTW, I got 10 good matches casted on VODs, but it'll take some time to get them all uploaded. I've got games from Sheth, LzGaMeR, Machine, CatZ, drewbie, KawaiiRice, TTOne, Fenix, and more. =)
Also, a special rare 2v2 between LzGaMeR/iNcontroL vs. TTOne/Fenix. Fun stuff. I'll release them throughout the day tomorrow as they finish uploading!

Looking forward to watching some of the matches again, thanks to the tourney organisers, orb and rav and chastise for trolling orb so well.
Was a lot of fun watching the stream. Practically a full day of SC2 tournies, EU vs Asia then HDH then this Lickitung Team tournament. Great way to spend a Sunday

I'm still awaiting a few replays to be sent in via email. I talked to all the teams in the Ro8 and up, and so I should get all of them by tomorrow.
They will be posted in the Lickitung Aftermath thread (Which I will create upon receiving them), as well as an interview with Catz, Root Gaming's Team Captain.
