I see him rely heavily on proxies, FF's etc.. but he is darn fast in building things up. I am expecting an WhiteRa/TLO final matchup. IdRa and Nony are possibilities too. Whitera can't play TLO in the finals.

those Cauthon-TLO matches were just awesome, some really amazing play by TLO. I really didnt expect this at all after the mlg matches (although i really had the feeling there that it wasnt TLOs day) One thing some people seem to be confusing about the first match: Yes cauthon did see that CC fly away from the natural but that was actually the one that flew down to the bottom natural and Cauthon took that out not too long after it landed. The cc at the other main highground however had been standing there a lot longer and was actually another cc altogether. TLO did pretty much a doube expand there trying to get that hidden expo even though his natural was standing there unsaturated and besieged, (if iam not mistaken this is how it went) and well ... it paid off big time. ... I hope it really went like that and iam not just making an idiot of myself right now ![]() The second game really worked out so well for TLO i think is because he was really careful with taking that expo. Cauthon loves to harass as shown in the mlg matches but TLOs really careful build of getting that second hatchery really kinda late and not immeadeately transfering drones completely denied Cauthon that harass that he was counting on. I think the fact that Cauthon never got to use those hellions to their real purpose really threw him off his game. Then he lost his contain to that fungal growth push which i think might have been avaiodable but then again even a player like cauthon cant have his eyes everywhere every time to prevent those mass fungals and punish those infestors for getting to far out. Well after loosing that contain suddenly the pressure was on him with TLO having the superior economy as well as map control. From this point on i think Cauthon knew that he could only turn this game arround if TLO made a mistake -like beeing prepared for a marauder drop for example- ... but well as we saw TLO didnt, also making great use of that infestor to intercept the retreating medvacs and immobilizing them with growth just long enough for his hydras to catch back up. With that he really sealed the deal for Cauthon. The rest of the game was really only the base cleanup though once again with some hillarious infestor usage like taking Cauthons high ground marauders with NP and using them to blow those tech-labs and reactors up. Tl;dr version: I really expected Cauthon to win this after those mlg matches but got suprised and amazed by TLO once again (first time beeing against Nazgul in the TL invitational) Iam really looking forward to the match between White-Ra and TLO , even though i still think that White-Ra is the slithtly more likely one to win TLO certainly has at least a chance to beat him as long as he is in the same form he showed against Cauthon.

I think TLO is in great shape right now and with White-Ra's rather predictable play he could have a good chance against him! And man, he's a poor student and I think he does need the money badly ![]() We haven't seen everything from TLO yet, I think. edit: Spoilered since there are people that haven't seen the livestream. edit2: lol, actually that spoiler is pointless because so many ppl can't keep their fingers from the keyboard. :p But I will leave the spoiler there as some kind of reminder. :p

The biggest problem in that first game was probably the fact that CauthonLuck lost about 20-30 scvs to TLO's banshee harass. He was way behind in macro the entire game, and couldn't keep up the contain, much less push in. But yeah, discovering the second too late was also devastating.

I agree with this - one viking or missile turret at home and Cauthon would have taken this game IMO, before that banshee he was dominating the game.

It's kind of silly to get on their case like that.Unless I'm mistaken, HDH Invitational was announced way earlier, both the actual tourney and tomorrows date/time. It's a $2450 tournament that's had it's wheels rolling for a while now. In all fairness, it's the TL Invitational that probably should have chose a better time. I agree that it sucks there's going to be overlap, and there must a be reason one of them haven't adjusted.

No one is at fault here. We posted our stream date before TL posted the information on the TLI, and the TLI folks probably had their time chosen before we posted our time. It just worked out that way. All of our videos at least will be posted on youtube in 1080p, I don't know if the TLI vods will be posted but a lot of times they are. Either way you can see them in the future at some point no matter which one you dont watch ![]()

He fought off the entirety of Cauthonlucks army with a few hydras and three infestors... and a whole bunch of fungal growth.
