As if a chat stream and people typing (or rather spamming) 1 or 2 would be democratic or even statistically correct. This is really bad mannered IMO, but obviously they had to stream IdrA too, because only 8 observers (and many of them streamers themselves) arent enough for a game.

Apart from this the commentaries arent really that good, but that what happens, when C&C players try to comment SC2.

Luckily Day[9] casts the semi-finals and finals and gives decent commentaries, but there were some neat games up until then already.

Wait let me recap,

a. You didn't like the music as well as many others and you wished they'd listen to the public opinion and changed it/turned it off.
b. You were pissed they listened to the public opinion about which game they should cast and wished they would disregard them altogether.

OKAY!

Sounds to me like you're just spoiled.

that's not what he said. His criticism was rather constructive overall and you should listen to it instead of coming up with what you think is a clever retort.

Only thing I dislike about the glhf tv broadcasters is that they often miss key moments and battles in the casting. I think the main problem is that whoever runs the camera isn't used to constantly checking the minimap.

An example is the game between Nazgul and some other protoss where Nazgul locks his opponent in his base with a force field. His opponent then blinks from his own main into Nazguls main. You noticed the stalkers moving to the back of his main and then popping up into Nazguls main but the casters didn't notice this until about a minute later when the stalkers had been harrassing the main for some time and then moved down to the expo.

This almost always happens in their streams when there is action in more than one place at the same time. Other than that I like their streams. Casters are entertaining and I think that with some practice they can learn to follow the game flow better.

Nah, his criticism wasn't constructive at all nor is any of the hundreds of stream whores (I'm one too). People just like complaining about everything. The music was so faint you could barely hear it under the commentator's voices, but people were still moaning and crying like it was WW3.

To me, the commentators not being great at discussing technicalities & often missing stuff on the mini-map is what they should definately improved on, and that would've been something constructive to say. Bitching about the whims of a dozen of listeners who don't even all agree with each other is not. Whatever music is being played, people will always complain. Whatever caster not sounding like Day9 these days is always going to get bashed these days. People just enjoy being ungrateful.

edit: I agree with DrainX~
