You can get more Gas quicker with a 2 Base Opener. Especially in aggressive Metas where you will often need to defend I find it easier to play 2 Base Openers. I can fully focus on surviving their damage and then punishing them with my Gas Units instead of getting more drones, offering them time to Respond.

I am only around 6.1k MMR and it works kinda okayish for me. The metashift to Oracle --> Mass Adept definitly made the game harder for me though

The really good thing about this style is you can blind counter/metagame Protoss that go for 2 base adept into 3rd because you can block the adept attack and then kill their third with swarmhosts = you now win the game.

Probably good to get a freewin in a bo3/bo5 since a Protoss won't expect the style.

I will try this build tonight, thanks for an interesting newish build to play :D Been having major issues with P and maybe this will be a saving grace? Also makes me work on my infestor control
