Point of Emphasis: Ask and yee shall receive. IdrA has been kind enough to share a couple reps with me and has said he will continue to do so. Hes training with koreans to get ready for his invasion of korea. Please join me in supporting him by grabbing pom poms and skirts and organizing cheers for our newest non korean rep in korea!

Again we see our recent favorite korean z using defilers in 9 minutes after some powerful muta harrasss... not enough to stop the white hope however!

idra looked like he had some trouble keeping up with his money going up and forgetting to upgrade marines, but he played nice smart contain tvz. I really like his 2 rax tech tvz build, super early tank and vessel safe vs pretty much everything if your marines don't die to muta harass.

Idra played well but he stopped upgrading at 2/1

Also, is it for sure that this zerg is the same one as in the other replays? Cause he seems a HELL of a lot better in those replays than in this one, even though this is a good game

Difference with idra and the Korean terrans is that the Korean terrans were handling it poorly by constantly attacking. Idra just took the other part of the map which is a perfect strategy against turtling zergs like that. That's why the zerg looked weaker because he definitely played as skillful as in those other games. Idra just had 7 bases and a buttload of factories/barracks and was just totally outmacroing him.

yea lots of korean terrans play really dumb tvz and wins only because they micro better and reinforce faster than zergs, only the few top amateur terrans ive seen in replays know how to come back from behind, take up the map, expo, take up space in general, others just attack with less resources until they're dead. Like that hobbang guy

Yea I guess so, I think that one thing that affected the zerg was that he had 3 bases with 9 mineral patches each but for 10 minutes he had literally 1 drone at one of them, 3 at the other, and then like 45 at the 3rd. Later he swapped it to about 20/20 but he still left only 1 drone mining minerals at his nat for the entire game. That woulda given him a lot more income if he had just put 5 of the drones from each of the other mining bases on his nat.

He wasn't really outmacroing him with units though since had so little production facilites. I mean his macro TvZ, especially building units is somewhat flawed and he should work on not let his money go up so much all the time.

Pretty nice game by Idra, although I think he could/should have added 3 or 4 more barracks. Pretty crazy macro though. O_O
