Wow that first queen ensnare was nice. In both games you went 12 pool gas rush three hatch. Than you go fast +1 carapace,lurkers than add a queen nest fast hive with ensnare,fast defiler than ultras. I saved every replay in my comp of you zerg vs. terran on tl. I tried to use queens when i play now. If you did that to Nada that would have been nice.

Yeah I watched your games at the invitational, and while it a defeat, you earned some serious badass points for using queens AND defilers at like 9 minutes.

Eri - In retrospect do you think going random vs Nada in the 2nd game was better than sticking to your zerg vs terran?

in retrospect randoming was stupid as hell because I got random terran and he scouted me on the first location

if I had randomed zerg and he had scouted me on the last location (equally likely) then in retrospect randoming would have been really really great. if I had randomed protoss I would also be satisfied. so of course I regret it now, but it was random.. I had a 66% chance of getting something I wanted and 33% chance of getting completely raped, it's like asking someone in retrospect if he regrets going allin preflop with AK vs 27 offsuit after he lost. you could also argue that due to only having 1 shot, I should not gamble, which I guess is a valid arguement to make.

If you're playing someone lesser than Nada then you have a decent chance tvt, but you're pretty much screwed if it's Nada. Also even if you get the perfect setup then you're still playing Nada who probably mastered playing against random a long time ago. So I'm saying the reward is too small for the risk in this case.

eri isnt great tvt, i think i remember him telling me it banked largely off him stealing their gas hehe. THis doesnt mean its "bad" but im sure he'd prefer a different mu.

the problem is that I dislike tvt so much that I never really play it seriously. I pretty much always go 3 fact vult because that makes for the shortest games, disregarding whether or not I actually have a fair shot at winning with it, I often do it against someone who wallins as well.

Yea, I felt a bit sorry for you that second game when NaDa really owned the game. But hey, at least you were invited as one of the best foreigners in the world.
NaDa is NaDa though, and no one there would have beat him.
