yeah, I was surprised by that. It seemed like Nada would have gotten a big advantage from that but somehow zerg held his own. it really shined in some of those smaller side battles though, like when that handful of marines at botleft killed most of a hydra army while zerg still had his bases down there. that was fierce

yea, nadas rine ups were pretty fast while zerg was lazy on upgrades, but 2 other things to notice:

1) nada did not build a factory add on at all whole game (so not a single tank against hydra/lurk)
2) zerg did forget to upgrade hydra range (at around 55:30, at the very end of the rep he starts upgrading)

and zerg DID try to plague, he just had to throw down a swarm first and after that all his defilers were gone... he as well missed some plagues (well, one did catch ALL of nadas vessels, but he couldnt take advantage, nada repaired them after the plague)

He DID take adv.
After plaguing all those vessels he knew nada couldnt send them into battle and countered 6 o clock expo while nada sat his choke.

Crazy game. Seemed like at the end Nada thought, "Hey, I only have one tech building left...well i may as well throw up the add-on and go BC."

Haha, funny stuff. Kinda sucked that the Zerg, and the map really, ran out of gas while Nada hoarded those BCs. We might have seen some cooler battles near the end.

I felt like those bcs were just a joke. Nada kinda knew he won after taking those bottom left expands. Too bad zerg ran out fo gas, though. Some more defilers would've helped a lot.

Don't see why zerg just didn't go power hydra/defiler with plague. They totally rape m&m vessel. No need for microing with swarm and lurkers, just attacking because marines with 1 hp can't run.

That zerg made me cry. Not literally, of course, but metaphorically. He didn't get ad glands until like 40 mins, after he had had hive for like 15 minutes. He macroed like a god but just couldn't figure out how to fight against nada's strat. So sad.

When your macroing that hard and fighting off against a genius terran, your rational thinking is gone and that primal instinct to kill in any way possible comes in, giving him that monstrous apm and micro.
